1 cow yields ca. 30m² slurry per year. 1m³ manure yields approximately 30m³ biogas, 30m³ biogas (CH4 & CO2) is typically enough to produce 60kWh elektricity Roughly 60 cows needed to operate an 11kW installation 1 pig yields typically 0.5m³ thick fraction per year 1 m² thick fraction yields approximately 90m³ biogas 90m³ biogas (CH4 & CO2) is typically enough to produce 180kWh elektricity Roughly 1000 pigs needed to operate an 11kW installation

So you fill the tank with slurry or manure. It decomposes but must leave some residue/waste in the storage tank. What becomes of that? Must it be cleaned out very often? Can that be spread on the land or has it lost all its value? How often do you refill the tank with manure?
