Construction of Fort Peck Dam

Incredible!! Only 7 years to construct!! Truly a modern wonder of the world!! One scene I counted more than ten men working. Otherwise every single frame of footage is on average only 5 men working maybe 6. Two cranes and a massive grader that has to be pushed by another plow truck over the bumpy areas. Expected to see hundreds of workers at one time to complete one of the world’s most massive dam projects of the new deal era post Great Depression. Seven years looks certainly slow going unfathomable - nice work corps of engineers & minuscule labor force of my lovely Montana.
