While I get the concern from businesses about traffic, I don't get why construction is even a controversial topic. The city upgrades it's infrastructure as it sees fit, and improvements to the roads and transit systems benefit everybody. Construction shouldn't be decided by nearby coffee shops and boutiques who probably wont even be there for more than 10 years. These upgrades go way beyond them. (No offense to those businesses).

I’ve been followed off the bus several times on the Colfax line, seen fights , smelt puke on others, seen drug dealing and drug usage. Not worth my safety to bus it. Also they are making g historic Colfax a one lane with is a shame.
