@@IanSampsonRLO Sounds as bad as trying to phone someone at Eon. My final phone call to them, started with a computer estimate that I had a _46 minute_ delay before I could speak to someone. The call was essential, and the last resort, so I timed it. The delay was precisely 46 minutes.

When available, I always use the option ‘I’m interested in buying a new car’ or ‘ I wish to end my finance deal’. They seem to get answered straight away 😉 . Then I claim innocence and they transfer me to the correct number.

If you were a japanese resident and had done that your call would follow through,and knowing the japanese you would get the answers and respect its how they do things.

Even if you can get through, Honda may have difficulty connecting you with someone, (even if they were interested). As they’ve had four, possibly more Heads of Marketing from 2015 to present day. Perhaps the post lacks job satisfaction... no one talks to them.

Pretty hopeless. The only other thing I would try is to get someone in another dept and then ask for PR or Marketing dept. Someone inside the organization maybe more willing to help than the phone dispatchers who are trained to put you straight to a survey.

I think it was an internal error actually, as in their switchboard was dropping the line and the system then thinking the call was ended, taking me to a survey.

WOW! I was really considering going for the Honda E but after care service/customer service is equally important to me. I have a Tesla Model S since 2018 and I have to say Tesla (London) has been great and very responsive in my 3 years of owning the car.

I bet they was more than happy talking and taking your money for the over price and poor range Honda Ev. I love the looks of the Honda E. But I cannot justify the cost of a Ev that has the range of a ten year old Leaf and Honda is known for its lack of customer service...

Connecting fine, their line doesnt hold though, get to have a convo with them (sometimes), dodgy line their end somewhere along the wires/switchboard I suspect.

Probably a waste of time. When dealers cannot be bothered to check and accurately place their location on Google Maps (I'm talking to you Landrover Sheffield) they probably wont bother contacting you. They sold a car - job done.

Yup, various stories dated Dec15th 2020 onwards: "Honda has recalled 1.4 million cars in the US for various problems. The recall is due to the possibility of the drive shaft breaking, software flaws, and window switches overheating in some models."

Hello............................. Brilliant, maybe the dealer you bought it off could get Honda marketing on the line using their phone. Or beat the system and press 2 for motorcycle and see if that department can hook you up, who knows. Failing that sell the car!!

Hilarious, but I am not looking for help. The general drive to cut costs and try to make people do everything online is a trend that has been exacerbated by Covid 19. This makes any request difficult if it doesn't fit into the standard questions expected. Having said that my local dealer when I had a Zoe was always excellent and I could always talk to someone if I needed to (Martins Basingstoke).

Yeah the Covid19 thing has been hijacked in many occasions as a blanket excuse for a poor level of service, as though it will become the norm. We feel the pressures of this all over for all the different services I use in the business's. Thankfully this video is not me needing some desperate help lol.

It actually made me laugh but that's only because it wasn't happening to me. That kind of service can be enough to make you walk away from the brand altogether. Funny how they contacted you and asked them to speak directly, wouldn't be anything to do with you publicly shaming them, no I bet they contact everyone directly who has that issue 😂😂
