Hi Soleil, I just wanted to say your planters will fill out beautifully and be gorgeous and full of wonderful blooms in no time at all. This year, I planted ranunculus for the first time also. Are you planning to save the corms to plant again next year? I think I will save mine if all goes as planned, and I remember to dig them in the fall. If any of your subscribers are interested, I purchased a couple of large cast-aluminum ice scoops at a decent price from Amazon. I keep the smaller one in my organic fertilizer bag and a huge one with the potting soil. This year, for the first time, I've started using grow bag material to make liners for my hanging baskets. It's cost-effective because I don't have to purchase new coco coir liners every year or two. Have a wonderful week! ~Margie🤗💚💐

That's a great idea for basket liners, Margie! I do plan to overwinter the corms if they bloom well this summer and maybe we will have more next year! 🥰🌸🌻🌷

The way I plant and style my coco liner hanging plants is by taking a pair of soccers and cutting some slices down the sides and slide my flowers into the slits and that way the flowers cascades their beautiful blooms down the sides all around the entire pot- it’s an absolute show stopper guys that ya gotta do yourself- you’ll never plant any other way!!

I save my red geraniums every year and will add some calibrachoa, lobelia and some purple mini vista petunias for my containers. Bonny

Plants in my sun pots this year: supertunia mini vista “Silverberry”, pink dahlia, dusty miller, some small white petunias, maybe a baby tut if I’m liking how it looks 🤪 I also went and bought plants yesterday since it was nice out and inching closer to the “last frost” date… but I feel a little embarrassed putting them together and out already-most of my immediate neighbors seem to wait till after Memorial Day as that’s the “rule” here in SE MI for a lot of people

Geraniums will be my foundation contain plant this year as well. I started sever from seed and I believe each and every seed germinated so all of my containers will be bursting with them. Love your channel since we are the same gardening zone.

I'm growing dianthus for the first time. Do I need to deadhead them?

If they slow down blooming, I will just cut the whole plant back and they will flush back out again, kind of like salvia. 🤩🪴🍀🏵
