Yes it can be done, however prior experience is required to handle the process seamlessly, VGM filing, Form 13, SI submission and Freight Payment has to be done timely in order to avoid hold up or delays.

It depends on the shipping line the forwarder short list. However max pay load is 23 Tons, but it can be restricted upto 18 Tons, based on the Origin/Destination practices. There is also option for Heavy Duty Containers, if your shipping weight is 23 Tons, you may book Heavy Duty Container which would cost additional freight
