Kate, I love this idea of using a template for the size of the planter. I never thought of how to pull a container together before this, I just purchased plants that I was drawn to. For the most part, my planters look okay but not always as gorgeous as I envisioned. Thank you. 💚

Thx for this very instructional video! ❤ your choices. I bought a Wire Vine last year in a 4" pot as a potential candidate around my very small & new Pondless Waterfall area. Then researched and it could be invasive here in zone 6 (or anywhere for that matter). But I love the delicate look and darker stems, so will be putting it in a pot and watching it carefully! Maybe have it climb vertically?

This is so great to share... some plants in my area are invasive in others! Some plants I would love to have, I wouldn't dare put in the ground. And YES! I've seen wire vine topiary forms that are stunning. You could even make your own wire shape for it to climb!

Those plants make a pretty container. I really like it, because its different. I have alot of pots, but i need the water bowl for inside the pot. Do you know wherei can buy some inserts for self watering? Thanks for helping us to make pretty pots too. You are easy to understand and explain things we should know.
