Incredible conversation! For me the most amazing person in regards to recalling past lives is Matias De Stefano. His series Initiation on Gaia TV is mind blowing. I’ve believed in reincarnation since I was a child. Thank you for this thoughtful discussion.

This was a lovely discussion, thank you both for your insights. I’ve been fascinated by reincarnation for many years and read many of the books mentioned. For those interested in Bob Monroe’s work, the physicist in his books who worked on research with Bob is Tom Campbell, who is mostly known for his trilogy My Big TOE (Theory of Everything), who has a profound theory of reincarnation.

Oh this is so fantastic! You are both such wonderful thinkers. I’ve had similar difficulties with and views on the question of individuality vs. ‘the whole’ or oneness. Like you Richard, individuality does seem to me a more complex state. In its history, the universe has grown in complexity and diversity, so it only makes sense for that tendency to continue. So when people say they want to be subsumed, to melt into the Oneness and stay there forever - well that always struck me a waste too, and I was sure there was a way to be *both*, because that would be a higher and more complex state. And on the other side of the spectrum, we have those who are terrified of personal annihilation. Clearly, humans *like* individuality. We fall in love with this person, not that one. We marry this person, not that one. Individuality is beautiful and it matters to us, as well as being a more complex state.

"64 Siddhis"-- Unfortunately, the subtitles to the video transcirbes this as "64 cities." Richard Rudd is saying "Siddhis," the Sanskrit word which he defines in the glossary of the GeneKeys book as "Divine Gift." It is a quality of a person who is functioning at a very high vibration level, an Enlightenment level. Wonderful discussion--I particularly found interesting the discussion of the ultimate goal of life on Earth, possibly not "up and out" but embodying God on Earth.

Great discussion. I see that this is a beginning discussion. The thing missing in most investigations is a deep training of the mind which reveals the basic mistaken identity. Life is empty of a separate self or an other. Who reincarnates? You can't be taught this, it has to be seen through a long awareness practice. Thank you for this discussion. Especially mentioning the works of the great pioneer, Ian Stevenson.

@@gene_keys Yes thank you.. You did cover more of the areas I was referring to. Thank you. A good discussion altogether from you gentlemen. However, the mention of a "purpose" for life is a misunderstanding based on the grasping of relative truths. Not wrong, just not complete, as I understand it.

Thank you both for sharing this! I have a question I'm hoping you could help me with. I agree with reincarnation & I am drawn to Buddhism (my family raised me catholic) I'm worried that all the research/learning I'm doing will be forgotten when I leave this body. How can I be sure to take what I have learned with me in order to build upon it in my next incarnation? I also love that purple arc that shows thru Richards face in this video, which shows his connection to the spiritual realm 💜 ~Thank you! 🙏🏻

Hi Christina, thanks for your question, which is a great one. I think that what is remembered is the evolutionary embodiment, rather than external teachings. Every living insight is imprinted on the soul, as opposed to just knowledge. So you may not recall specifics, but the imprint of the things you have learned remains with you always....I hope that helps...with love, Richard

@dianamjackson3 жыл бұрын
I’ve had the very same thought as Richard: that humans having only one go around IS ‘stingy’! It seems like a waste. What first made me think this is the existence of relationships: they seem so fecund, so multi-layered, that it would be a waste from the creator’s perspective to not let those relationships bloom and develop and get deeper over many lifetimes together. It speaks to the creativity of the creator. I apply it to ‘heaven’ as well: I mean, why not have a heaven? It seems so interesting! If there’s only one thing I can claim about creation, it is that it is creative. There’s always something interesting going on, and if there’s an opportunity to make something more interesting, the universe will do it.
