Contemporary wooden sunbed

A contemporary sunbed design made from larch and spruce wood.
This video follows a process of making a sunbed over a few days period. It took me approximately 15 working hours from start to finish.

I know people comment (positively and otherwise) on the industrial fixtures and tools you use, but I love to see the temporary purpose-built jigs you make for specific tasks such as the little part holder for cutting the angle on the ends of the slats. Super cool.

Just the tapered edges make it look so sleek and elegant. I This is a real inspiration for something I might want to try, should work with a custom jig and a miter saw. But, with 15 hours of work involved from a professional craftsman, I think this piece would have deserved some higher quality wood. As some parts of the back rest do not 100% match by grain structure and color to the rest. As I find the design and marksmanship flawless, maybe that could have been been addressed as well. I think this would look awesome in either oiled oak, or unprotected ash, that would bleach in the sun. 9/10 pts :)
