I was always a Mako man. Grew up on them and have owned several. But since they sold out they have turned into a box store boat. When I bought my Contender 30" I was blown away with the quality and performance. I would never consider anything else.

Great Video. My family loves running/fishing our Contender. We fish out of Surfside Tx running 100 miles one way or farther on most trips. We are very Impressed !

Since I was a kid a Contender was always The One I wanted most. Now I would have to test a SeaVee, Yellowfin, Contender, and probably Invincible, to make a final hard money decision! But if forced to make the decision "blind" I'd go Contender. Right or wrong they've always just been "The One" in my mind.

Don't you add hi-density foam to your hull during construction? What kind of "floating ability" does your hulls have in the even it strikes a solid object while at sea?
