As a fan who gets tickets for all stands at Anfield, the reason the Kop is the loudest; 1. Kop has the most passionate local loyal fans at Anfield who know all the songs, more tourists in other stands 2. Kop is one of biggest single tier stands in Europe 3. Kop is ALL STANDING (with rails) throughout the game. If you stand up in other stands, you get told to sit down or thrown out by stewards. It just kills the atmosphere. The Annie road is quite loud when you’re in there but cannot really hear from the Kop, because most fans who stand are at the back Solution - bring rail seating into most stands at Anfield…Kenny, Lower Main and Lower Anfield Raod is already. Also should put Away fans in top tier of Annie Road like at Newcastle St James Park…

I do love how honest and direct Slot is, but in saying that, he gives away a LOT of our tactics and strategies in interviews after the games. Maybe it's the kind of thing that doesn't actually make any difference, like maybe all Prem Coaches are at a level where they all inherently understand the oppositions strategies and it really just comes down to who executes better, but for me I keep thinking 'Shut up! You don't need to tell them this is how we exploit them, we've still gotta play them again this season!'
@oldmarmaduke3 күн бұрын
He’s also said that he doesn’t say everything so as not to give any crucial information away.
@PaddyMcMe2 күн бұрын
@@oldmarmaduke I mean he can say that but he still says a fuck load. Like, I just want him to come out and be all cliches and platitudes 'Yeah we pressed well, there were moments we lost focus, a few calls didn't/did go our way, and x player was our best.' And just leave it at that. The quicker other teams figure out how to play against us in this new set up the less chance we have of winning the title.
@oldmarmaduke2 күн бұрын
@@PaddyMcMe I reckon you're overthinking it a bit dude. Like, nothing he says will be new information to other managers, especially the top ones. You think Pep watches his press conferences and learns anything? They have video analysts that will go over each Liverpool game in far, far more detail. It sounds complex to the average football fan but in reality it's incredibly basic.
@tomraven70923 күн бұрын
I think Darwins positioning is sus. He needs to get into the centre of the goal as soon as the ball goes wide. Slott has taken the pressure of him to be the main scorer, by making him a team player.
@donuts76272 күн бұрын
So much to comment on but on the contracts: 1. Mo is an exceptional player, the type that comes around once in a lifetime. Even at 50%, he is better than almost every other player in his position. Give him a 2 Yr deal and part ways amicably with him firmly established in the Kop pantheon, he might even catch Shearer. 2. TRENT, already the best attacking rb in the world and fast showing he has the defensive nous to become the best RB outright, Bradley is a good replacement but he is still quite young and if we rely on him to take Trents spit we could break him. I think 2 -3 Yr contract, and if Madrid still want him, give him a buyout clause in yr2. 3. VVD is a colossus, and I think he'd happily sign a 2yr extension to win the lot as captain. We need to buy his replacement, though . On the refs being a dick, is anyone actually surprised, how many decisions across the entire season over the past 10 yrs have gone City's way. They are already accused of financial doping, so why would anyone think they are beyond bribery? Lastly, I think no matter who took over, they would be successful, but Slot has taken his time to assess this squad and thought , yeah, this'll do. I think the improvement in almost every player tells us all we need to know about how good Slot is and I agree it was time for a change. I still love and respect Klopp, he made us believe, but Arne is taking the steps to convince everyone else that we are a force to be reckoned with.
@rogercorreia62922 күн бұрын
To be fair to Coote. We have to also have a list showing the decisions that went our way. For instance against Villa last week there were two or three penalty shouts that could have been given (I realise Klopp is no longer the manager its just an example). It does no favours to just go on about how he hurt us.

Complete nonsense. If you buy a player for that money you have an asset worth money, it is not a sunk cost. Also paying crazy wages has an inflationary aspect to all wages within the club.

I can’t see anyone in Europe buying a backup GK that’s Northern Irish plus what teams in Europe could afford what we’re asking for a backup GK.

It's not a downplaying of Klopp to praise Slot. I love Jurgenand he transformed us but he nearly killed the entire misfield by not slowing it down a bit and controlling games. Slot has taken the Klopp blueprint and tweaked ot so that we could maximise the talent at our disposal. Grav, Curtis, Diaz , Trent, Ibou, and Kostas have shown how good they work in this system says it all.
@Didamking2 күн бұрын
@ for sure. I agree with what you just said. Also, I just want to be clear by saying I am in love with what Slot is doing. However, i remember when Klopp came to Liverpool after Roger’s and you could see the style of play chance and also how he connected the fans with the players. All I’m saying is it is premature comparing 4months of slot to the legacy Klopp had. We can talk about both achievements separately but to compare it is a disservice to everything Klopp did to the club.
