Although I agree with the principle behind David Frum's reasoning for not debating, I also agree with you. It's a 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' situation. The moderator having the ability to turn off donnie's mike will be a very welcome addition and I think that will be the reason he uses to not turn up. If (I'd love to say when!) he's found to be guilty, that should obliterate the need for any debates.
