After the movie released, there were many discussions on whether this film was regressive or not, given the way they deal with the whole Madonna vs. Whore complex. However, the film actually does side with Veronica (Deepika) in the way that it shows her journey of feeling insecure because she isn't the Madonna to finally accepting that the guy isn't in love with her - not because of her clothes or her lifestyle - but because he just simple fell in love with another woman. It's an arguable movie that you have to watch to understand.

it is not exactly a musical but yes they do break out into a dance and songs (not usually sung by them,they do lip sing ) to express emotions or different situations.But usually the acting and the dialogues are the bigger part of the movie.Usually all Indian movies have that, but that's what makes it what it is "Bollywood".
