I wish this trailer showed more of the romantic side of the story and the challenges he and his partner faces once they try to start a family. it's actually a really nice story and one of the best films that came out that year. talking about IVF is considered a taboo in India, and this movie really did a good job about spreading awareness about the topic.

Oh and another thing whoever compared this film with Housefull series should actually be put in jail for saying that. Housefull series has nooo logic whatsoever (+ awful jokes), this one on the other hand is a very very layered & intelligent film with great comedy. The only people who probably dislike this film are either against the message its trying to convey (as its against our "culture") or they don't understand Punjabi & Bengali humour. Most of my friends who didn't like it much had no understanding of the Punjabi & Bengali cultures & its nuances, so they missed out on the inside jokes.

1. Aryans and Nazis don't have any relation. That dialogue was just the doctor trying to convince him to become a sperm donor. There is no need to read too much in it. It is believed that Indians are descendants of the Aryan civilization, so it is just a reference to his ancestry and the fact that he has good genes. 2. Hope is the only one who came close to accurately describe the movie. It is about the protagonist accepting the profession of a sperm donor and how it affects his place in society, his family and marital life. So, yes, there is conflict in the film. 3. Housefull 1,2,3 are probably the worst films that you can ever watch. Vicky Donor is a much more meaningful film. India originally had 2 races that formed the demographic layout that we see today. The Dravidians were the first settlers and settled in the southern part of the Peninsula. The Aryans were fair skinned and came originally from Turkmenistan and settled in northern mountainous regions. Um. Actually, the word "aryan" is a sanskrit word meaning "Noble". It's a hindu concept. Also related to our ancestry...Nothing to do with nazis. The germans (nazis specifically) read some part of the bhagwad gita and vedas...and decided that they are aryans and doing the work of "Arjuna" (The perfect man). Basically they were nut cases, who took noble deep concepts and made evil interpretations..That's probably why our ancients have said categorically "The vedas are not to be read by the unfit - (You have to qualify to be able to study the scriptures with virtues of patience dedication and intellect) and not without a guru (The guru shishya relationship is imp). Nazis have nothing to do with hinduism or aryans or the swastika...These are all hindu concepts and don't mean what the nazis made them out to be. Aryan in sanskrit implies someone who is noble in qualities, through intentional and intelligent effort...Basically, in the quest for knowledge and yogis were the quintessential example for that. It's a fun movie, i think its more fun when you cn understand the punjabi puns and witty dialogues (which get lost in translation), This has nothing to do with Nazis.. Before the British ruled india they sent many scholars like Max Muller so that they can study our history and create such theories that can devide us.
