@omwtfyb I found a really good cheap Chinese tire though. They are made by Ling Long Tire. Evoluxx 4×4. I just put them on an SUV. They look and handle great. No road noise. I just hope they stay that way. Time will tell but reviews all say they are great.

Yes but Nankang has a factory in China that manufactures same standard as Taiwan 🇹🇼

@@bondedstars No the Falkens are terrible. They are hard and ride bad. The Nankangs are better i have them on 2 cars. They are softer like Michelin. Another hard tire is Bridgestone.

Nankang are not chinese tires, they are made in Taiwan. MUCH better quality. Plus most of your household is composed of stuff that is "made in china"

Nankang tyres are not Chinese. They are a Taiwanese company established in the 1940's. They have experience of producing anything from aircraft tyre's to agricultural and domestic tyre's. The NS2 was a venture with Yokahama tyre brand which produced a high performance but low cost tyre. The NS2 is likely to be inferior to Goodyear or Michelin in most fitments but is a fraction of the cost. The NS2 would suit most high performance car drivers that are not into extreme driving.

I've been running the Nanking NS-2R with the 180 Treadwear rating for a number of years now at track days. Great tyres, good wear, on one wet morning session I was one of 2 drivers game to try it, not the fastest, but safe, can handle some water, predictable, reliable, and most importantly fun. I run with traction control off, so grin factor and affordability is a great combination.

I wanna buy tyres for my Crossover and have two options. Nexen nfera Supreme that costs me about $175 each, and Nankang Sp-9 Cross-Sport which is about $115. I don't know which one should I go with, as being comfy and smooth driving is the number one priority for me.

I hawe Nankang on my 2 cars and 1 motorcicle ...they are superb....in 1 weak i wil buy x4 Nankang winter tires. Why Nankang for me? Because from my firts tires until now i had no problems, smoth ride, responsive, and the rubbet is high cuality and they are not expencive ;-)

I bought 4 brand new Nankang NS-2s. for my IS300. Had em for a few months but came across 2 problems. 1) The sidewall are turning brown. No amount of washing can get the discoloring out. I only can spray tire shine on it every wash. 2) Road Noise is awful. I have these same tires on my Kia Forte with the same exact results.

Taiwan is not China. Nankang are manufactured in Taiwan using Japanese technology. They are very reasonably priced. Continental are a premium brand, Nankang are mid range. However, Nankang give reputable brands like Continental some serious competition.

Nankang tyres are far better than many would have you believe. Also a lot of the "premium" brands are far worse than you could imagine.German technology has been bombarded on the public as being the best. Its NOT its just average that is the power of advertising, their tyres wear faster sidewalls crack so you have to go and get another set. the cars, BMW ,VAG and Merc have reached a level of complication that even the main dealers can't fix, not that they ever see cars over 3 years old or that many people can afford their prices.At BMW they are looking at cars with an expected lifespan of 5 years...

Is nankang really actually good. The NS-25 AS is running for less than 300 bucks on a staggered setup of 225 and 255 no way it even performs well.

Agree Nankang are good tyres. Made in the same factory as Michelin and with plenty of cool history behind them. Ive had Ns2 and AR1 and both were awesome!
