Idk if it was mentioned during stream, but the beetles that disrupt crops can also be caught with the net and used as bait. Works on the farm fish and forest fish 😊

The dust cloud animation is to let you know that plants need to be watered.

Do you have to choose more than one profession? I chose archaeology and have no problems planting crops. Is it just to have better income in the game?

is there a faint time that you need to go to bed for or can you keep ging and dont need to sleep on a time of fainting?

You can stay up all night, no fainting. You can sleep if you need to move to the next day so that you can speak to an npc. 🙂

I heard that the game feels kind of pointless in terms of new recipes/progression, do you feel that way? Like there is really no reason to gain the new items aside from selling.
