I have played multiple pro cyclist careers for the last 5 years on different editions. The game engine works the same every time whatever your results or stats are. I had a career where I won RVV, Roubaix and the Belgian nationals and Worlds (road) in my 3rd season. Only "big" World tour team interested was Movistar for a classics sprinter. Year1: Offers from continental teams Year2: Offers from the best continental teams and lesser pro continental teams Year3: Offers from the best pro continental teams end lesser world tour teams Year4: Offers from the best World tour teams This means you can ride for teams like Ineos, Visma, Bora, Soudal, ... the 5th season at earliest. At that time some of them have been replaced already by another sponsor with no custom champion kits. (I know you can edit the length of sponsorships in the DB) In my opinion you have 2 options to keep the game real and enjoyable: 1) Change the interested teams. 2) (temporarily) Change your stats if you don't change the interested teams. At the end of season 2 you'll probably have one or more stats at 80 or above. I really like that there's a cycling game like this, but without the modding and the WorldDB community the game wouldn't be half as enjoyable.

yeah just add som world tour teams maybe do like a random roulette to not really "choose" with realistic teams like quickstep or things like that

Hey the reason why you constantly get negative days is because your preparation % is very bad. You should put one "race specific preparation" every single week in your training. this way you % will go up and you will have mostly positive days! (also put in some "social life" this will also cranck up your positive days to +5's) also check the map a few km before the finish so you can check if there are corners ;) edit: i don't think you can get +5 days you need to go to settings and change something to get +5's

The reason I got negative days in this specific video is because my rider peaked form in the last video and these races were during a recovery week. And yeah, +3 is the maximum in my playthrough as I don't play with +5 in my settings. It's a choice, I don't like +5 and -5, too unrealistic.

Gent Wevelgem was an amazing race! After being treated like that you should definitely change teams and looking at a Top 3 in a World Tour race you should be getting a contract by a World Tour team for sure, so I would like it if you would put e.g. some Belgian or Dutch World Tour teams in the list.

You're not getting WT offers cos you're not winning! Need to look at smaller races and pick off easy wins to up your chances. Took me 3 seasons to get a WT contract. Started at conti moves to a better conti, then pro conti before WT. On 24 wins now, which isn't great but now I have Groenewegen as a leadout man, which works beautifully

remember you can scout some info off riders in race by clicking the magnifying glass at the top right of their attributes. Makes a big difference if you know MvdP has a +3 or a -3

Go for world tour. pro cyclist mode is my favorite mode but there are some things to consider, e.g. you have to win at least a race pre April 1st for higher ranked teams to be interested in you. as you're in season 2 and started with a pro team, id except you to need at least 5 wins for some world tour teams to be interested in you.

You should cheat the game to get worldtour teams interested in you, because young and talaneted rider who are getting picked up very early so it is very realistic. And I think it's also better to do this so you stay interested in playing PCM for a little bit longer.

06:30 You really need to train better before upgrading your attributes. If Puncheur was on 95 or higher, you would have gotten more than 2 points for your Hill stat. There is really no sense in training two stats at the same time...

I didn't train 2 stats at the same time while training puncheur so it wouldn't have changed anything, but good to know I shouldn't in the future.
