I noticed you have no holes in the bin. I take it that i can make a bin without drilling holes?

I used bins with drainage holes when I first started but I soon transitioned to using bins without holes. If a system of mine gets overly damp my preference for counteracting it is to add dry bedding and/or give the system the ability to kick off excess moisture by allowing evaporation 👍🏻

Hey AV, do you use a shredder?

Yes - I actually have 2 cross-cut shredders. One is a 12 page & and the other is a 16 page shredder. Prior to getting shredders I used to tear paper into strips by hand - but with a nice, capable shredder I'm able make so much more, so much more quickly - and it's all nice and small in size. And I can also shred cardboard - which I was unable to do by hand 👍🏻

After my first 12-page shredder bit the dust I started searching Facebook Marketplace to find a replacement. I found two that were in great condition, very reasonably priced _($20 each)_ & located fairly near each other... so I hit the road and returned home with them both. I sorta treat the 12-page shredder as a backup, just in case the 16-page shredder breaks down. Hopefully they'll both last me a long time. They're wonderful time-savers and they make excellent bedding for my wormies :)
