Dude this is insane I tried this game on SNES mini cant even beat stage 3 after multiple tries

Haha take your time. I've been playing it since 1997, it will be rewarding and worth it. Don't forget to pick 7 lives. Also, Normal and Hard will give 4 continues while easy only gives 2. Don't forget to use the R button to lock your position while shooting. This is super important for a lot of situations so you don't run into things while aiming (esp level 4)

I cleared the game in hard mode using save states on my emulator. But I did not know many of the moves you used. Thanks for showing us your tricks. I am wondering how you play this good but looks like you were born with a Contra game in your hands. Ha ha... ;-) :-D But seriously, why did the developers design such a hard game. How can you expect a 7-year-old child to beat this game? If I gift this game to my 7-year-old niece she will start crying and complain to her parents that I am trolling on her. Ha ha...

I've been playing it since 1997 :D. I probably wasn't this good until 2002 when Shattered Soldier came out. It's my favorite game of all time and now I can show off to my niece/nephews with the snes classic lol

@@Fleaker Hmm... I see. But despite your decades of practice you still have some innate ability for playing this game. I don't think I can ever play like you. I feel very dizzy when the floor of the single-eyed shelled- tentacle boss starts whirling. I stocked up lot of probotector bombs and spawned right on top of it after dying to beat it. If I had been unsuccessful using brute force, I would have quit the game right there. Next time I play, I shall definitely try your moves.
