Is there a way of implementing either when you hold down the jump button, or designate it's own button, to be able to fire diagonally without having to move a la super Castlevania 4 or super Metroid respectively? I don't think it would take away from the difficulty whatsoever, and would be a fantastic quality of life improvement. Also I still stand by being able to see what characters have upgrades when you pause it somehow. Just some thoughts!

When you beat 1 of the 3 stages and receive a medal, do you still have the medal when you turn off your game? Or do I have to complete the game in one sitting. This game is very hard and I can not beat any of the 3 stages.
