at the end, i really hope that is a teaser for remakes of both Contra 3 and Hard Crops. The ending is the start of the Alien Wars in Contra 3 and the werewolf along with the Sniper and Robot, they were 3 of the 4 playable characters from Contra Hard Corps (not uprising as that is considered a prequel). If they do remake those then we could expect a remake of Contra 4 which takes place right after the Alien Wars when Black Viper (the alien leader in Contra 4) invades Earth

Buy it on your PS5, it'll be better on the bigger screen too cause the game is very zoomed out. It looks too small on the switch. Played the Demo on switch and bought it on the Xbox

I love how soundtrack is remastered and some areas of stages reminds of first two games. I'd rather not. OG is basically Contra 1, Super, Operation, and Contra 3 crammed into a bland, generic package. The same thing could be said for Contra 4, but that game was released two decades ago, and the 2D artstyle was still reminiscent of the earlier titles since it was made to commemorate the series' 20th anniversary and capture what made those games so fun to begin with despite being made on technically inferior hardware. OG just seems like a cheap re-hash of the same game that WayForward had worked on like two decades ago as well as a repeat of the same game that Konami had made back in the 1980s. If anything, I'd still like to see Konami attempt to move the series forward than repeat history over and over again. As long as they stay away from the likes of whatever the hell Rogue Corps was trying to do, then I'm fine.

Contra Hard Corps I like the most. Was really fast paced action. This however sometimes looks like Gunstar Heroes. Especially the level with the train. But it's sure is nicely done.
