High John, quick question. Why do you create a normal mesh and an inverted mesh to do the solid element operation later? Why not two normal meshes?

It can really be done either way. By creating two normal meshes, you'd have to add a third volume in between to be cut by the top, and bottom. The way I demonstrated, it's simply a mesh for the topo, then an inverted mesh to cut down to subgrade. Very similar workflows, both work, just all personal preference! Thanks for the question!
