I hae a problem here. If I link txt file to excel I cannot overwrite it with new AC data. I have to close excel first then save it and opet excel again. What should I do? AC 27 and office 365.

Hello, Can you somehow delete points directly from the station only? Lets say i have a reflectation in water or in the window, i do not want to work with that, I know i can delete if for cloud to cloud. But is there a way to delete it for overall cloud? I hope I wrote this so you could understand. Thank you

Hey bro, I've tried this multiple times on my mac but I can't seem to save the image at the selected pixels. Even when I place the view on a layout it somehow gets cropped to the output view shown on my screen, meaning the entire view doesn't get placed (on a layout) or saved (as an image). Do you have some tips please?

Hi, and thanks for the comment and question on this! The resizing and saving of the image is a known issue with macs. Depending on what version of archicad you're on, try just saving the regular 3d view first, then going into the view settings and changing the size in PX there, and save it. That may do the trick now with more recent versions. Another thing to try, is have a selection in the 3d window that you can zoom to fit, even if your window size is larger than your monitor resolution...then hit save as view. This might help also. Axo and Perspective views work a little differently as well, but Mac's are known to have issues with this in general. Good luck I hope it works for you!

Over November we're continuing updates as we prepare for the Project Template training workshop that is running in December. Lots of action here as we close out 2024!

FIRST great video showing AC capabilities and CONTRABIM dedication!! not to be a debby downer, but why put all of this effort to achieve a "pretty" model, when in fact does not assist in plan take-off estimation by GC's.

Thanks for the comment! I wouldn't necessarily call this a "pretty" model, but it does assist with in-wall and overhead coordination, as well as quantity takeoffs. In fact, modeling like this does produce an exact material list with cut lengths on framing members (I don't think we showed it in the video), but it's all right there and as accurate as you model. Useful for design-builders for sure, or contractors who want to pre-plan their framing layouts.

Thanks for the comment! You're likely referring to a texture that has insulation & studs both included in it. It's just a surface assigned to the framed cavity wall w/ insulation, but provides the quick feedback visually to work with.

I'm having problems when using Splines as contour lines. The curves in the mesh become millions of points when I put the spline into the mesh. Is there a option so that the mesh doesn't turn everything into points?

I've always wanted to ask you that question. i feel the Twinmotion French presenter has the same. Impossible to achieve that smoothness and immersion with mouse and keyboard. It always feels so clunky during presentations! I just found this video of yours (btw I love your presentations!) and just ordered mine. Weight is annoying as I flight quite a bit for work, but it is what it is! Keep up the good work!
