Another tip when you go to buy stuff in the safe house get the bundle on the first kiosk you see I forgot the name but get it you get a m3 grease gun a ww2 helmet some apples heals/meds and a vest with some vest pouches also a backpack and here the twist it is under 5000 coins( edit 4:00 you can see it says backup supply)

I found a ton of it in metro. Lots of dark areas and corners to hide in too, it’s easy to hide from other plays while looting then run for an extract.

Not sure if this is mentioned, but don’t slide unless you’re engaging a fight. The audio for a slide is super loud and super noticeable, and lets people know that there is 100% a player instead of it potentially just being a scav.

I think its great, gives a mission and purpose moving to different locations in the raids. If you just want action, move to the areas you know the biggest chance for player encounters are :) Quests and stuff is what I missed the most in the other extraction shooter :)

Biggest tip i have, as according to reddit not many people know! Enable the compass in the settings, it shows a compas HUD that shows all exfils 😁 Helps a ton

Would like a guide on the different ammo. I was using the best ammo 545x39bs and a naked scav took 6 to the chest. Same paid killed a contractor with a single chest shot so a little inconsistent. Testing needed for ammo types.

4:02 would it be better to get energy bar cause for the price of 2 (4,600) you get 60 energy, while 1 chocolate bar is 500 more and only gives like 40 energy. i was looking at it per one consumption verse multiples. the chocolate bar is thin and quick to eat, the energy bar takes longer. Both are good when starting out. Another perk to the energy bar is it can go in the ammo pouches

I don't quite understand the difference between spawning as a scav or a contractor aside from the huge advantage of starting with free gear and passive AI

@@callmesai4274 when you are a scav you kill the contractors, you don't progress in tasks you can only loot with the gear they give you. It's used as a way to make money. As a contractor you do the tasks and kill the scavs and other contractors while progressing through the game and upgrading your hideout

Can you complete tasks in training? I've only ever played the original contractors and that was long ago. When I open the map. I have the choice of hard, hard or insane difficulty with 9, 9 or 12 players. Doesn't seem likely I'll survive any of those.

@@kanvoo12 i free hand without vstock. Playing a lot of shooters freehand transfers to all of them the same. Devs seem to have different opinions on what vstock should be and gun stocks need calibration built into the game so I eventually just stayed away from it all

If u want money and guns do scav raids above the deploy button it will say scavenger click it and then deploy you will spawn as a scav and all scavs are friendly to you unless if u shoot them but there is usually there will be no more players becuase it’s after the game and just loot before the time runs out with a medium or small backpack and then go to a exfill since they will all be open and then you will get back to spawn and then you have free helmets vest and loot but u can’t do tasks in scav raids but I highly recommend selling the stuff you find cus in one day I got 800,000 coins😮Try it now

Where's the damn hammers? I've been to power plant and auto body shop (as well as any place that might have one) repeatedly and can find no hammer to finish my level one storage upgrade. Very frustrating. I've tried scav runs targeting those areas and a few contractor runs were I tried to get to those areas earlier. But I've not seen a single hammer. Loving everything else, just need to get my buddy trained up so we can start mixing this in with our weekly Dungeons of Eternity runs.

I mainly look for the tasks to level up my vendors and hideout. High value loot like the figurines, statues, gold bars sell for a lot. Legendary guns are always welcomed as well.

yes, light packing in metro works well. I usually bring a fat backpack though because i notice a lot of other players have the small bags. All resources are there though. I bring 1 heal, bandage, and stapler. I roll SMG preferably the evo. Great loot

What people that are new to the game dont realise is, you cant play this like fortnite. Or call of duty.. you have to take your time . If your being shot at.. immediately take cover. Dont tryn shoot it out in the open .. and if ur doin single player raids.. watch out for squads .. and you should be ok

it takes you back to the default items. You get only a few guns, ammo, gear, backpacks. If you have 0 items check and see if the menu says you are offline, there might have been an update in which you will need.

In the tutorial? Might be a bug. Just know to extract you need to be at an active extraction point which will have green smoke. Stand there for 10 seconds to extract

Depending on your PC specs boost the resolution on the meta PC app, boost your bitrate to around 200mbps if your router can handle it, then inside the game out the resolution to ultra, move SSAO to low cuz it makes the shading look blocky on anything else
