Control Defeat The Hiss Corrupted Tommasi Mail Room Unknown Caller Mission Guide Fast And Easy Way

This video shows the first boss in the game, Control, this game came out in 2019, the mission is called Defeat The Hiss Corrupted Tommasi, the area is Executive / Mail Room,
This was the first time i beat him, i ran upstairs straight away and it looked like the other guys that spawn on the lower level didn't spawn, be aware though if you die and spawn back outside the Mail Room you will have to fight the other enemies in the Mail Room before you can progress, or just try running past them,
I found firing from the hip was faster for me than aiming and shooting as he is moving around all over the place, take cover while your ammo regenerates, i also crouch, but when you fire you come out of crouch, so just remember to drop back into crouch to stay away from danger,
I found it easier just to shoot Tommasi instead of throwing things at him, it's very easy to get killed, i used this pillar to protect me,
I also changed shoulders to make it easier to peek around the corner, you do that by pressing one of the buttons on the D pad, i can't remember which, take your time, and watch out for baddies sneaking up behind you,

It’s 2023 and they still have not patched this (THANK GOD) I kept dying because I tried defeating it on the lower level and was dumbfounded to see that you can defeat the SOB this way. Many thanks!

Poor game design is giving someone a previous ability you work to attain (telekinesis) and then the directly next boss is immune to it. Whos brilliant idea was that.

I didn't enjoy the game, reasonable story though, No reason to replay, The mission "Cleanse The Siphons", I mean who designs these missions ?, Are the play testers to scared to say this is crap, It will put people off and the won't buy Control 2, It doesn't even feel like you should be able to complete it, Welcome to modern gaming it will only get harder in the next gen so they can charge for the solution to the bit you are stuck on, Micro transactions seem to be on both the new consoles.

Its not immune to telekinesis you just have to hit him while he is starting his Telekinesis attack so he can't evade

I just learned how to throw shit through the air... and the first boss they throw at me, I need to hide behind shit and shoot repeatedly? Jesus, I am regretting this purchase already. :-(

Thanks for this video! It's so annoying because they clearly wrote: 'do not stand still, keep moving around' or something like that.. and then it's just impossible to do just that and the only way to beat the boss is to stand still and NOT use telekinesis.

the whole game is similar to this, especially the end section, The issue is no matter how strong you get your health can be smashed down to 1% in 1 hit, it is a fundamental game design "feature", the devs said so while watching a speed run, You have to think out side the box, if a frontal attack isn't working, upgrade your powers and grind it from a distance, Or just use cover, if the game doesn't force restart you, then it is allowed, I enjoyed the game, not much need to replay it though, Unusual ending which isn't the ending.

I tried like 5 times to do it by running around and throwing stuff and dodging/evading his attacks and I kept dying. Good to see you can just cheese him by exploiting janky AI lol

I was surprised how easy it was, I think you can change from looking over your left or right shoulder to help peeking around a corner, The Tommasi's are a constant problem in this game, when you get your lifting and throwing objects super power it gets easier to take them out.

It is a bit glitchy, If you stand on the lower section until the guards spawn you will get attacked by the guards but i found running upstairs straight away and standing behind that exact pillar didn't seem to spawn them, and as the door you need to go through when you defeat the tomassi is on the same level as you are already on you can avoid them completely, Or just look back at the stairs while you attack the tomassi just in case they patch this, You can go back down after and kill them if you want.

Actually, I figured out that there are red telegrahps with gas cans under then. Corner the guy or lead him near a wall, his dodge does nothing to avoid the explosions.

Actually there's a rare chance to hit him using telekinesis cuz 3rd try I randomly get to hit him before I die but that works

Dunno maybe load from an old save, i found this game quite glitchy but they were random and unique, Not play tested very well as the game had big quality of life issues on release.

I learned this trick early on, I thought there might be a blind spot which gives me the advantage, I don't know if other pillars work, But this one did, if i ran up there straight away and i missed the other spawned troops, You do have to watch for them sneaking up the stairs behind you, I have more videos on this game especially the cleanse the siphons, That is the hardest part of the game.

He is difficult but try the way i do it, Run straight upstairs and the guards don't spawn, Just hide behind the pillar, To hide from his attacks, Watch out for guards sneaking up the stairs behind you, The tommasi never leaves the big area so you are safe behind that pillar.

Hopefully you got through it, I really struggled on catch Herman in Spiderman, Sometimes these missions spoil the overall enjoyment of the game, I didn't complete Spiderman as it just got to hard and it wasn't fun any more.

i think it drops back to the last save, but i can't remember if there is an auto save with this game or it is manual save only...
