I got to see leprosy and spiritual healing tour but back then my best friend got into this stuff more than I did so it wasn't till years later that I realized how dam good the music real was and back when leprosy came out I liked chucks vocals way better he was deep and it was kick ass as the albums came out his vocal started getting higher and higher and didn't sound the same like he wasn't using a pitch transposer or something regardless I still think he was a damn good

Tim Aymar and chuck too unfortunately are not around anymore and i miss them both. But the other half of death still is and you actually can thank him if you ever see him. The other mastermind in Death and control denied too was Steve Di Giorgio and he plays in Testament now. If you ever get the chance to see him dont stop to go out of your way to thank him for all of this because he deserves it. As much as People really miss Chuck and Tim, Hardly anyone bothers to thank Steve and they should. Steve is still around and you dont have to miss him at all you just should thank him really.

I can't believe how underrated Richard Christy is. They even made fun of him on the Howard Stern show. One of the best drummers ever, in my opininon. I've been drumming for nearly 10 years, I know what it takes to play most of the songs I listen to, even though I lack the skill to play them properly, but there are grooves and beats played by Richard that I have no fucking idea about how they are composed.

Eric Grief lied and backtrack on what he said a few years ago. Saying it was almost done just needed Shannon to do his parts and some other tweaks and here and there. Then of course us as fans kept pestering him about it since he gave us false hope. Then he came out and said the tapes got damaged at morris sound studios.. and it will never happen. Expect the Unexpected for sure.
@radioffvoicesnoysyvisionna76436 жыл бұрын
BRAINDEADRICHARD Yes...and i think that it would be almost a rip off or at least impossible to complete something unfinished...we got those four demos tracks by karmageddon and nothing else so i wonder if there is/there was other material that was being worked at And those four tracks are cool but demos anyway...so lyrics, bass and everything is missing, that was perhaps the "skeleton" of it...anyway those tracks are cool as ever...wondeful solos (expecially on track 2 and the majestic track 1) and that dreamy intro for track 4...once i listened to them i began wondering about what was going on in chuck mind at that time, a lot of work was about to get done...his guitar style was improving...i noticed with immense pleasure that chuck began introducing some suspended armonies in the guitar work and i love suspended stuff...and that intro for track 4 is so interesting...it seems slowed down because of the delay used or something, is so dreamy...anyway the mood by these tracks is so obscure and haunting...and so was the sound of perseverance too

chuck is a legend!! legends never die! I was fuked up sad when Chuck died, all that talent, I think that certain bands did a benefit concert to pay for his medical bills...I remember thinking all these bands, one person could of payed all of it. it's like ozzy with Randy Rhoads...Randy's original grave was being chipped away by ppl wanting a piece of his marker. so Ozzy did a fundraiser concert(not sure what bands played) to get randy into a nice vault, or a mausoleum, or a tomb, I'm not sure which of the 3 it is..I'm thinking it's like 1992 no more tears was fresh. lots of $$ flowing, u couldn't of paid for it yourself??? wouldn't of dented ozzys cash flow. like come on Oz Randy Rhoads started your solo career, I get it, it's good for kids to see diff bands but to raise money for a vault??? what Ozzy should of done was pay everything..idk was always strange to me...anybody else know this?? or heard about this I should say? anyhow there's lots of guitarists in the world in the metal, death metal world, ppl Owe alot to chuck whether they want to admit it or not...he was a pioneer
