Man this takes me back to my teenage years when life was amazing hanging out with best friends watching Headbanger's ball, smokin pot, hot girls and old muscle cars. Now 50 years old and serious health issues and don't see me living to see 55. I play this music and I'm back to being a happy teenager but then realize I'm so alone and will be til I pass away but hopefully were ever my soul goes I will still here this music 🖤

+zack smith They were just here at MYTH in MN. Carcass was the first act and they are certainly better live than catching up to their music on YT. TESTAMENT was for sure brutal!! Loved it all the way through that set. Billy looks good again and his mic is his favorite air guitar haha. Slayer was undoubtedly Slayer. Tommy seemed irked at Myths sound guy on the main vocals box and called out "Where's Jeremy? This guy should be fired". Tom said "As long as it sounds good to you guys" and the crowd erupted. But yeah, he was very quiet in between sets talking to the crowd like maybe he was ill. Still rocked my drums all the way home.

Funny I didn't know this band when I was looking for heavy bands to listen to. I was looking for some uplifting and heavy Christian songs and found this! This is what its all about. Love and the peace of Love. The world is full of lies and society is a lost place for lost souls who have been taught to be down on themselves for everything. It breeds fear and fear breeds hatred and anger and resentment for each other. Its all a lie! We don't hate anyone. We are encouraged to and we are only human with human emotions and weaknesses. We might get angry with others and the things they do but inside us we do not hate them. We are not each others enemies. We are all together trying to get through the same 24 hours together. No one of us is perfect and every one of us has done someone wrong in our lives and inside we did not feel good about it. We are not designed to hate each other. We were made to love each other and lift each other up. We all suffer in our own way. We can all take the suffering of one day but when we hold onto the past and worry about the future we get paralysed with fear and anxiety. Its not real! Today is real Now is real. Tomorrow is unborn and we have no stake in it. We can not reach tomorrow but through today and we can not get through today with out the here and now and who we are right now is who we are and we can chose love right now. Do not regret the past and do not be ashamed anymore. Its ok. We are not saints. We can make the change in our hearts today. Feel the love. Its real. It in you. When you see a person walking down the street you do not know think to yourself I love this person even though I do not know them. They are here in front of me and a wonder of nature. They have a life and a heart and troubles and pain. They know suffering and fear and are often confused and afraid. They are not as they might seem inside their hearts and they are one of us. We are all just human beings. We are stronger together and when we love each other we are all the same and a force to be reckoned with. We are labeled and shuffled into a class system to keep us divided and to keep us from loving each other. Don't listen to the lies. Don't be fooled by the Devil because he wants you to suffer in loneliness. We don't have to suffer in loneliness. Maybe Love made you suffer when someone you lived so much left you or was lost forever. they are in you if they loved you and you loved them. We are one in Love and we become a part of each others so deeply and this is why it hurts so much. To know that hurt is to know love and to have known its wonder and comfort. Take the pain and embrace it and know that person is still with you in love. Love can not die or be broken. We never stop loving someone but we can get confused and lost in the sea of the world. Love is pure and true and never lies. God is love. We feel the Love he gave us. It is not something we earn. It is ours. We all come from the same seeds of life. We are literally brothers and sisters in the flesh and blood no matter what our background or beliefs or race or religion or age or size or shape. It is good to be loved but even better to love. Smile at that stranger and know they feel the love when you smile at them Be kind to others and pay it forward for you have been loved. People need love today more than ever. Pay it forward. You can make an impact today. When we show love to a stranger they will in turn show love to another and so on. It causes a domino affect and when we do this every day we can see thee change in the community around us. We find we belong and have a purpose in our community and even a responsibility to it as part of it. We are all important. Very important. You are important to me today. I love you as I love my family or myself. I do not need to know who you have been to know who you are today today is a new day. I know you inside. I know your heart is like my heart. I know we all are at a different place in our walk and that's ok. Today is a new day to celebrate the air and sky and the beauty of nature and freedom of being in charge of our hearts. We have ourselves and np one can ever take that away form us until we leave this earth. No one can get inside and change us or force our hearts. We can be led and confused and misdirected but we have a chose today to listen to our consciences that are never wrong and never lie to us. Trust your gut feelings and let them guide you today. Be motivated to do right by your conscience and you will now who you are with no doubt in yourself. You are a good person inside and you are better than you think. Don't be held back and told not to believe in yourself. You are an amazing creation. You have a power in you that is stronger than fear or anxiety or unworthiness. You have the power trot impact the world around you with your heart.

I remember being a teenager and dated this boy who loved Testament. He would play this song on repeat in his bedroom while we would do it. I'm 43 now. I may have forgotten his last name but I will never forget this song! :)

Nothing sends our minds flying backward through time like memorable music. My days with this album were dark days, indeed. I would never want to relive them, but nor should I forget. They all but created me.

After so many years looking for this song, I finally found it. I heard it for the first time thanks to my brother. I remember that I bought a CD of various Haevy metal, the best of all was this song, we listened to it so much that the CD was damaged in a very short time and to our misfortune both the name of the song and the artist were wrong, it said that the song It was from Megadeth. For this reason we never found it again, until this moment when I accidentally found it. It's a shame that my brother died a few months ago. I'm sure it would have gladdened his soul to hear this song one more time. I dedicate it to you every time I heard it brother. David Urbina. 28/10/2023.😢.

`round 30 years ago I bought this CD (as one of my 1st ones) now it`s somewhere in a 2nd hand, have left behind a lot of material stuff on my way, liberating (!) Those guitar riffs in the middle of the song bring me back to a 15 year old ME.Listened to this CD with my very 1st boyfriend, wore a T - Shirt of this group even before listening to their music the 1st time ( cause there weren`t cellphones in every hand, there was no youtube to share in an instant with people you are fond of)... A friend "triggered" serenity" by a "post", nowadays I`m - again, thankfully - more earth, mother Gaia related than "alone" - "no time for anger, no time for despair" - have been a part of a magical saturday at 21st of may - totally different music, healing type of live concert by "Il leone e il colibri" - thank you again, dear Georgia , dear Sergio for this magic day - kzbin.info/www/bejne/onOWhWl3qs11lbc

I'm gonna take you to a place far from here No one will see us watch the pain as it disappears No time for anger, no time for despair Won't you come with me, there's room for us there? This innocent beauty my words can't describe This rebirth to purity brings a sullen tear right to your eyes No time for anger, no time for despair Please, let me take you 'cause I'm already there I'm so alone My head's my home I'll return to serenity A rhyme without reason is why children cry They see through the system that's breeding them just so they die So please let me take you, and I'll show you the truth Inside my reality, we shared in our youth I'm so alone My head's my home And I feel So alone (so alone) At last (at last) I return to serenity Now that I've taken you to a place far from here I really must go back, close your eyes, and we'll disappear Won't you come with me, salvation we share Inside of my head now there's room for us there I'm so alone My head's my home And I feel So alone (so alone) At last (at last) I return to serenity
