My nerves kicked in month of my test and my instructor said I was test ready (despite me failing my mock tests) I used rescue remedy for the month before with all lessons and made sure I got a good nights sleep before my test. It’s important to eat something even if just a banana or biscuits to keep sugar levels up. I did have a session of hypnotherapy for driving test confidence with my physio (do check qualifications) that did help me. I was anxious until I met my examiner and luckily got a brilliant one who did everything to put me at ease, we were chatting most of the test which helped me. I said I was leaving any anxiety behind and for the test was really calm and passed first time, 3 minors. Remember that examiner is human and wants you to pass, just be safe and take a few deep breaths at lights if feeling nervous.

Maybe the best advice is to make sure you can do everything well and know that you can do everything well, then it's just a matter of doing what you know.

The nerves get the better of me every time! I’ve done 4 tests now, I’m determined to get there and pass but I need to control those nerves. Thanks for the tips

I know what your saying try and make a plan. Mock Test will.hope don't do to much driving before Test. Keep it to yourself as this would put me under more pressure. I failed 5 times until 6th one booked early in the morning this enabled me to get straight into it and not have too much time to think about the test. Have a playlist of music when you pass I did I thought about how I would feel and music I would play. Say to yourself I have got this and what this would do and how you feel. I also thought about places I would go when I passed and got own car. Good luck you will get there. David.

i like the sunny outside setting.😊 i will use Veygo driving insurance This is a legit real company correct? For my driving test next month.. i will be doing this in my friends car and he doesn’t have dual controls. Would i still be able to take test? Could you send me a link to taking your own car driving test video of yours for myself and those viewers who do read the comments Thank you Travis :) Yea.. hoping this time my test nerves are more relaxed now because this isn’t my first test. i definitely don’t want to be taking tests after tests and failing my uk driving test.. i don’t have a second mirror, so will they have a spare extra in driving test of their own? With my test being in Mitcham test centre, i don’t know where this could be if they change location and where i will be driving.. You know the feeling you don’t know where you’re going. This is the link for the rules for using your own car for driving test. Yes you are allowed to use a car that does not have dual control www.gov.uk/driving-test/using-your-own-car

A wee update for you and help me understand a little. Driving Test Reference Number.. Dear Mrs.. Is it bad their system has my gender wrong ? i am contacting you about your practical driving test appointment. The email confirmation we sent you advised that your test would be conducted from Mitcham test centre. However, this centre is temporarily moving to the following location from 2 September until 9 February 2025, where your test will now be conducted from: The Hilton Hotel 101 Wadden Way, Purley Way, Croydon CR9 4HH Please Note: Parking is available on a first come first serve basis at the hotel, however is chargeable after 15 minutes. There is parking available on Waddon Way and Williams Terrace. There is no facility to practice at the hotel. There will be a waiting area set up in reception. Toilet facilities are available at the hotel. I’m nervous 😅 i don’t know necessarily where i am driving type way After thinking a little i might be driving near mitcham test centre area. You know?
