Great ending, loved how you cut the video but kept the sound. We all know what happened. Loved it, no one makes poker videos like this.

Sometimes I play with my rent money. That is something I can control. But if I lose, I get evicted. That's totally out of my control.

The first are simple preflop and piosolver and the last one is GTO Wizard. Yes, I also have some videos about tournament hands :)

Impossible to fold KJ there, right? But realistically, we are bluff catching, right? Bluffs like 56 and something random? Because his value shoves are not gonna be AK/AA unless they have history of thinner value shoving.
@2CardConfidence Жыл бұрын
The solver is actually shoving AK, AA and even some KQ for value - and IP is calling as low as K5, A9 and even some 7x vs a jam. OOP would bluff AQ, AT and A4/A5, so there's quite some bluffs to be caught according to the sim! :)

What preflop ranges are you using in this spot? I'm assuming VK is 3b much wider than gto/Nash when 4handed and cos he's a savage. Solver vs gto default Nash range might have call/fold mix frequency with QJo but as VK's range starts inflating QJo must start throwing in some mix frequency 4b to take advantage of his bloated range.
@2CardConfidence Жыл бұрын
I used a custom made preflop sim in simple preflop for this exact game. Sure, VK could be wider, but I have no evidence, so need to go with the GTO baseline
@enijize1234 Жыл бұрын
@@2CardConfidence super reasonable definitely not faulting you. I'm just picking your brains to try and see if there's any potential inefficiencies between the solver world and this real world. QJo is a nice 4b bluff against guys you know have K rag suited 3b polar stuff in their range. Which in my experience happens most BB v BTN and BB v SB

can i ask why sometimes you show simple preflop vs piosolver vs gto wizard? are you showing what you think is the best tool for that specific situation or do all 3 more or less wind up the same? im assuming none of these are GTO+ either which i dont ever see pop up in videos but i see mentioned. well unless i dont recognize the UI. theres just so many products out there and i wouldnt know what to get especally when chanels like yours just use all of them and i dont really know the differences if at all significant. i know in the tourneyment scene i see stuff like icmizer and hrc mentioned a bunch but those are 2 more that i never see pop up in videos.

Yeah, great question. I might make a video about this in the future, but I'll try to answer your question. Personally, until now I have mostly used the 3 solvers you mentioned - GTO Wizard, Simple Preflop and PioSolver. That's why you see them in my videos. If possible, I like to use GTO Wizard for hands in my videos, because it's simply the most time efficient. It's basically a library of a huge amount of solves, so you don't actually solve anything yourself, but rather access pre-solved solutions. That's why you can get the results within seconds. But this also brings limitations, because sometimes betsizings in their solutions are different than the ones used in a hand. Or players play hands which would not be played preflop, so they don't appear in their postflop trees (which was the case in this video's first hand). Or I want to make a point which includes modified ranges and the impact of such. Then I need to use Simple Preflop (for solving preflop ranges) + PioSolver for postflop, where I can make custom sims, but it's more effort. For you, if you're starting out I guess GTO+ would be good since it's a cheaper version of PioSolver and/or try out GTO Wizard to access A LOT of data really fast which gives you a good overview. In the long run I believe Pio + GTO Wiz is a great combination.

in the KJs hand., why does btn 4b so little in gto?
@2CardConfidence Жыл бұрын
Looks pretty standard considering we're in position. (Note that the hand is 200BB deep, but 100 straddles, which means effectively even a little less than 100BB. So no need for big 4bets)

and what is the program called that you use here
@2CardConfidence Жыл бұрын
Hey, yeah GTO wizard is great to access the GTO solution to many spots without having to solve yourself. So very practical and fast to get a grasp on the GTO strategy. The first hand is solved with simple preflop (for preflop) and piosolver (for postflop). These are a bit more difficult to use since you have to solve each simulation yourself. So it also takes longer. But you can input your own ranges, exact scenarios and hands that you want to solve with specific stack sizes and bet sizes. So all of them have their advantages and disadvantages. Or basically different use cases

Hey, i think KJ in the analysys wasnt a call pre Facing a 3 bet. Also the solver wasnt set up properly couse the game wasnt 6 handed, and the fact that the UTG wasnt there changes. alot 6 handed game and 5 handed. If you wanted to make a right analysys, you'd need a solver for 5 hand in that case, it Just feels awkward that u call with KJ Facing a big 3 bet where by calling you were only relying on a flush or a straight. In my opinion this KJ felt dead since the preflop, and if he really had a read,why would you ever call 1/4 pot on a turn, if you KNEW u were calling the River no matter what. Alot of things he was beating before the River, and So many he was dying to after it.
@msaciek1234 Жыл бұрын
Idk what happened in there, but calling that preflop tells me that Limitless might be a bit of a gambler 😝😝
@InternetTroll69420-xАй бұрын
Please Dr. Theory, tell us more about how UTG being absent from the table changes the preflop ranges between SB and BU. You are so confidently professing on the situation so clearly you must have a deeper and genius understanding of preflop theory that escapes both 2CC and Limitless. And hey while you're at it, also please give your rational for why Limitless should be folding a combo that wins nearly 2bb as a call in theory. (hint: 3 handed, 4 handed, 5 handed, and 6 handed games all use identical preflop ranges, you don't know what the hell you're talking about).
