Hello there! I have a few questions: 1) I can't find the small version on Amazon, only the big one that may be the APDS-9930... So I am actually scared to buy the wrong one. 2) I want to use this inside a lightbox, that will be 3in deep. Do you think it may work??? Will the light inside the box interfere with the reading? 3) the LEDs I want to use are 12V, how can I adapt the voltaje to make it work with my Arduino Uno? Thank you again!! I love your videos, they are truly helpful! :D

1) I would recommend eBay for this one. There are several sellers in china, where you can get the sensor for around 2-3€. So you can buy two or three of them from different sellers and you'll get the right one. 2) Quote from the Sparkfun datasheet: "Gesture results are affected by three fundamental factors: IR LED emission, IR reception, and environmental factors, including motion.". So light might influence the sensor. I also noticed that there is a optimal distance to the gesture sensor to work. It's about 10cm. 3) You can control a LED with a relay or a MOSFET: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqiUnIaJlKt8gc0

You can’t. They don’t have a way to change the i2c address so the arduino can’t differentiate between them
