I’ve been surprised how much faster my shooting irl has gotten because of VR. Getting a solid sight picture and target transitions are such a necessary skill that you get so many reps in VR that directly translate to the range. As a Marine, this stuff is honesty as close I can get to getting in the field without all the logistical BS associated

I just saw this game on Steam and wanted to watch some videos about it before I bought it. This video reminds me of an old series on TV called "Special Ops Mission". The camera setups were one of the things that I enjoyed about that show. This video had alot of the same type of setups.

I searched up “tactical shooter VR games” on KZbin because I was looking for something fun to play and Tactical Assault VR was one of the first results. I looked up some vids and was very much intrigued. Picked it up off the oculus store and got my buddy’s to buy it and we are absolutely hooked on this game. It’s insanely fun and I love the tactile feel of the game. It’s a bit rough around the edges but considering you said it’s being developed by a single guy that is more than understandable. He’s doing a fantastic job. On a sidenote I honestly really dig the low poly aesthetic and I kind of hope it doesn’t change or if it does change at least add an option to toggle this visual style on. Something about it just really clicks with me. Overall this is fantastic and I can see myself losing dozens if not hundreds of hours to this game ^^ Highest regards. Excellent game and I’m excited to see how it continues in its development 👀

Honestly I don't notice graphics as much While playing VR games. Could be copiun but the body to brain connections fills in enough to make if feel real rather than look real.

Im surprised I haven't run into yet in these lobbies, lol. 2 games for you to check out. SPECWAR Tactics (rough around the edges but a very cool game, mixture of mount and blade and door kickers), and Command: Modern Operations. Command is a bit much though, Specwar is super cheap and really easy to get into for a DK fan. EDIT. I also have to say, Im REALLY growing to hate the sounds in TAVR. Something about the suppressed mk. The Ak sounds pretty good though, but so much else is super weak.

Keep in mind a lot of people get very motion sick when first trying out VR, so consider this; Cheapest option would be to buy a quest 2, which this game is available on. The game is $10 as well ($12 on PC) Keep the receipt from where ever you buy it and if you don’t like it, return the quest and you’re only out $10 from the game! This is of course if it’s within your budget! If you like it, you can always upgrade and continue to use the Quest 2 as a VR headset too! If you have a higher budget and a PC, definitely look up options and specs for headsets!

It's only for recording purposes. Activate it by using the arrow keys on your keyboard to cycle through views on your desktop when in PCVR. Not possible on quest so far as I know.

@@nandoman4769 im clearly not the only one that has thought the graphics are lack luster as this game has an all time peak player count of 181 players. Im willing to forgive some lower graphics for games like vtol as that game is more simplistic overall but for ground to ground combat or cqb i like higher fidelity graphics which is why im waiting for Geronimo or a proper Co-op Overhaul for Onward.
