Controlling Exposure Compensation on Panasonic ZS200/TZ200 in Manual Exposure Modes

Hi, I'm glad I found this video and channel as I am contemplating to buy the ZS200 to complement my LX10. I did get your Guide to the LX10 from Amazon and it helped a lot because the Panasonic menu system or the Panasonic way is just confusing especially for a guy like me who came from the Canon world. That guide emphasized well the confusion that can arise from settings which affects photo or video setting or both which helped me a lot. Thank you again. I'll surely get the ZS200 Guide also if I push through with the purchase of the ZS200.

I think that the exposure compensation does not make sense in the manual modes, because you have control of all the exposure variables, unlike the automatic modes (P, A, S). And another issue is that the compensation in these cameras only affects the jpg output, so it does not work if what you want is to avoid saturation of the lights in the raw capture.

hi i got this camer used and i cant go above f8, it goes down but never up, is there any setting im missing?

The full range of aperture settings for this camera is from f/3.3 to f/8.0, so there is no setting available above f/8.
