Love the video Adam. Thank you! Question in regards to remove the glare in the glass window with your matador cape. Did you bounce the flash off the wall or did you shoot through the cape to remove the glare? Thanks again
@adamtaylorphotos2 ай бұрын
I didn't use a flash at all. That glare on the right window was a reflection of the white lamp shade. By holding a black curtain in front of the white lamp shade the window was only "reflecting black", which doesn't show up on camera.

Can you use HDR exposure bracketing instead? (2 stops down, 2 stops up and one normal)
@adamtaylorphotosАй бұрын
@@vaylenjpevans7880 You can, but it won’t give you the same results. Sometimes it might get you 80% of the way there. But I strive for 100%. The kind of clients I want to work with know the difference between HDR and high-end.

Very nice! No flash exposures?

why? there was no need :)

None needed on this one. :-)

@@robertchmara8818 Maybe you and could better explain “when flash is needed” in your photography. For my work, flash is used to get proper colors, reducing color cast.

@@adamtaylorphotos Thank you. Could you respond to my other comment? Do you explain when flash is needed versus when it’s not?

@@skymakai I basically only use flash to solve specific problems. I just did a whole workshop all about how/when/why I use flash... adamtaylorphotos.com/lighting/
