I have these Touch Toggles and they work great. Very nice> I can confirm that they work with a Digitrax SE74 and DS74 when used with a DSXC4

That's great, hope it works out as good for you as it did for me, let me know how it goes!

Really neat setup, but I am not understanding something correctly. You seem to have DC powering the switches and AC powering the lights, which seems backwards to me. I'm new at this so sorry if it's a dumb question.

Can one Touch Toggle operate multiple switches, like, for instance, both ends of a crossover? Green - both are straight. Red - both are aligned to allow traffic to change tracks.

I'm controlling two turnouts with one toggle. I send the signal to one switch machine and then daisy chain to the next. Press the button and both turn outs switch. I think there are a lot of different ways to use this system beyond what I'm doing. Check with the manufacturer for more info.

@@petes3dscalemodels881 I checked with the manufacturer, and this is what they said "For Tortoise type machines, up to 4 machines can be powered from a single output. Just put two wires into each output terminal. This makes crossovers very simple. For snap type machines that need more power, each machine needs the full power of a single output. In this case you would use an Input Splitter to connect a single Touch Toggle to two inputs on the Snap Base. Both would be activated at the same instant, but the Snap Bases manage their output to recharge between operations, so the two turnouts would actually throw a second or so apart. "

Thanks for checking. I was aware of the splitter but hadn't tried it. For snap switches they make 2 different power bases, and I have the stronger one, so perhaps that's why my set up works ok. I'd like to convert to tortoise type some day, never tried those either.

how would you use a ds64 to control this and get signals also with the atlas switch macines
@petes3dscalemodels8813 жыл бұрын
I don't have a ds64 so unfortunately I don't know. I bet if you chat with the touch toggle folks they could help www.berretthillshop.com/store/products/touch-controls/

You can operate DS64s (as well as other DCC decoders) with the Universal Translators available from Berrett Hill: www.berretthillshop.com/store/products/universal-translator/
