Not just Adam. Some of the drivers that are not as consistent (Adam, Rad Dan, Kyle Mohan, Matsuyama ect.) get tougher judging when they go up against a top 4 sort of guy in 32. Obviously FD doesnt want someone randomly going beast mode and disrupting the championship points leaders in 32, so anyone facing Odi\Chelsea\Osbo\Field has to be so perfect there's no way the judges could vote against them.

Even with both incompletes in the chase, the contact caused you to not be able to finish your lead run even if it was only 20 feet from the finish line. The judges explanation "if Adam would have been able to finish his lead run it still wouldn't have been as good as Odi" was bullshit in my opinion.
@ClimptonDiddlehopper2 жыл бұрын
Sort of...that was basicly the shut down so they used the previous part of the run. That's not the issue. 2 other competitors hit the same way Adam did but didnt get a 3 tire off call. Really I dont see how he could be 3 tires when the pylon contacted the door not the rear corner behind the wheel.
@DownLow00992 жыл бұрын
Exactly, Adams's lead was technically incomplete from being hit. So how the hell do they justify using a not at fault incomplete lead against a complete lead...
@KakiiYT2 жыл бұрын
It has nothing to do with Adams lead being incomplete, it was more so Adam didn’t get out to the first touch and go, so Odi’s lead was better. I don’t think Adam’s chase should’ve been an incomplete therefore he should’ve won, but that’s the world of judged sports. 🤷🏻

I think it's down to the big money sponsors paying to get their drivers favourable treatment
@davecolwell7252 жыл бұрын
@@Matty.Hill_87 I don’t think it’s that at all the judges want to put the best show possible forward and they know the best drivers up top will do that, whenever one of the lower drivers gets to the top 8 they make a major mistake but the big issue is this is because the judges never let the lower competitors get higher so they don’t have enough practice with the top end competition and get psyched out because of lack of experience at top level competition it’s a vicious circle. Having bullshit sponsor politics happen to me in Australia I know exactly how it feels. You need to be a really kick arse driver and show some consistent performance for the judges to start to let you have some ‘favouritism’ like Dylan Hughes is doing atm. Or you’re right and they think more about putting the more big sponsor cars forward rather than the true winnner and because they do that those drivers are the good ones because they get all the top level experience. Either way I do feel a lot of bias in the judging decisions, I think the judges have a lot of pressure and a lot of hard calls to make but the reason they make the calls they do is have good intention behind them they think a lot about why the cars got into the position they are, alas they seem to make these calls fit what they want to be the case to put the top drivers through more often than seems right. Judging and it’s foibles and the comp politics is what got me to leave the competitive scene in Australia in the end, at least it ruined the love for me and there is no money in just drifting for fun. Lack of money, debt and many other factors have kept me away from driving ever since. I still really miss it sometimes though.

I’m starting to notice a trend with you Adam, you let your nerves get the best of you every time. We know you’re an amazing driver, but just try to go out there and have some fun! Stop thinking “I’m out here with the big dogs and they are gonna bite me” or whatever. Just have fun like you do on the practice runs!

This is why FD is so frowned upon by the grassroots scene. Any “pro” sport ultimately becomes a cash grab, biased circus for spectators instead of just driving and sending it with the boys… I’ll never understand FD and I don’t want to. I do feel for Adam tho, and I wish they had called it without playing favorites
@Scxteen2 жыл бұрын
I feel like i need to see Adam in a mustang for fd, that are so competitive and a proven chassis vs Adams struggle with the s15 Would be even cooler if the barra was in the drift car

That was still sick af. Nice drivingg Adam. 🙂 I know with all the pressure it aint easy to have the most effortless run with such tough competitors and crazy fast rides, nice work thoo. Looked fire.

I thought OMT for sure! Either way, good job out there. You and the car looked really good

Keep pushing Adam, many more competitions out there also, where the judges don’t judge like this sh*t. (Excuse my language kids).

You made me a fan of drifting at 59yo, coming from the drag racing world where the clock determines the winner. I understand "hitting the marks" in the zones, clips, etc., but the "judging" aspect reminds me a lot of figure skating and gymnastics, sometimes they love you... sometimes they don't. Still, love to watch you drive, your attitude and your videos, especially when you show the "footwork" involved.

How can they compare the lead runs when your lead run was basically incompleted by the chase driver?
@rccoul2 жыл бұрын
Logic doesn't apply.
@Ddlup2 жыл бұрын
@@rccoul clearly not, a OMT was literally the only logical thing in that situation but these judges are something else
@batuhankaraman17142 жыл бұрын
Even if adam had completed that run and odi spun, odi would still win - says the judges
@Ddlup2 жыл бұрын
@@batuhankaraman1714 well yea respectfully, thats bullshit hahah. How could one win if he spun, it should have been a OMT bc of all things that happend in their battle, these judges have been very wishy washy this season and especially this event, pure and utterly bullshit lately
@batuhankaraman17142 жыл бұрын
@@Ddlup yeah Adam's lead run is incomplete. They compare odis lead run with an incomplete run. Sad
@Ckhouri22 жыл бұрын
That’s BS, Odi caused you to DNF on your lead run since he caused you to straighten so they shouldn’t base the win off of comparing lead runs since Odi made your lead a 0

Although Adam was very shallow the entire weekend on the touch and go zones, I still feel this should have been a OMT
@LordPodlington2 жыл бұрын
It should have. Even factoring in both incompletes on chase runs, only one of them hit the other in a decel zone. Odi's lead was an awful lot better though, so OMT would've made sense.
@craigk92 жыл бұрын
Was watching the online count of those watching drop from 17k+ to little over 13k in 5mins. Also dislikes went from 72 to 130 in this time. I call it a OMT.
