Trust me, I'm also surprised I uploaded a Death Battle video. But I didn't expect the first video on the subject to be this one, I'll tell you that right now

I find shadow’s loss against mewtwo highly questionable for a few reasons. It’s definitely possible for mewtwo to take over shadow’s mind IF he could catch him, but unfortunately for the psychic Pokémon, shadow speed advantage is abundantly clear. Also while mewtwo does have a healing ability, it’s not automatic like ryuko. Even if it was, shadow’s superior speed would allow him to slice through mewtwo before he even has time to heal.

If doom could he would of done so from the start and had shadow kill sonic and everyone else. Witch he definitely could becouse in his dark ending. Shadow defeats sonic and the Commander in his prototype robot while taking them on at the same time. Also sonic wasn't holding back because everyone's life was on the line if shadow succeeded.

I'm not mad that Ben lost to Green Lantern, I'm mad that he lost in such an unfair way They used original Ben for this fight and limited him to his original aliens, yet they let him use Alien X, an alien that can't be unlocked after the Omnitrix levels up, which also grants Ben dozens of extremely powerful aliens that could also deal a lot of damage to Hal Also, the fact that chopping Ben's arm off guaranteed Hal's victory is bullshit. The Omnitrix would try its best to protect Ben at all times; and even if Ben's arm did come off, it wouldn't mean that he can't transform anymore Green Lantern wins, but not like this

Especially since they had an adult male voicing Ben Hell he only gets to use about…..3 aliens? Four Arms hits his shield, Heatblast gets 1 hit in, Grey Matter is just used for a joke, Way Big’s hits get shrugged off and then it’s Alien X. The animation did Ben horribly

​@@2009monkeysGreen Lantern is way too fast for that to work. His constructs crossed the DC Universe (vastly bigger than the Ben 10 universe, see Goku vs Superman 3) in seconds. A weaker Green Lantern even survived the Crisis that reset the entire DC multiverse, which is much more impressive than the Ben 10 multiverse. The problem with this episode is not the conclusion itself, it's the fact that they didn't explain their reasoning well at all in the conclusion.

I feel when people talk about Ben vs Hal is always from a casual perspective when it comes to Ben 10. This is gonna be my opinion as someone who’s been a Ben 10 fan since the OG show up until OV’s end the way Ben was used in the battle was…disappointing. Like I’ll ignore the fact they used kid Ben since they used the logic that since they didn’t have an existing sprite for 16 year old Ben and likely didn’t have time or budget to make one I’ll let them have it. But throughout the analysis they hype up many of Ben’s later aliens (Brainstorm, Feedback, and of course Alien X) which considering most other death battles gives the vibe that you’ll actually see these in the fight…then the fight only uses Original Series Aliens and Alien X. It makes caring about the analysis kinda punish you since you go in with some expectations only for all of them to be shattered. Like imagine Megaman vs AstroBoy with everything the same except Megaman in the fight ONLY uses weapons from Megaman 1 and the Rush Suit. It just feels weird and is disappointing we don’t get to see the dynamics some of Ben’s other aliens could have had when fighting Hal. I feel the reasoning of “well Hal would just blitz them” is stupid given Death Battle is a show that even in fights where it can be seen a blitz win they still give the fight the time it deserves to be fun or interesting (see Homelander vs Omniman and Deku vs Asta) so I wouldn’t see why Ben trying other aliens he’s used in the series would be impossible. I hope that whenever they bring Ben back (since I have a feeling they’ll bring Ben back eventually) they try to give him the chance to feel more like the character I grew up with instead of the 2008 version with Alien X duct taped on.

I know another very controversial episode is Bowser vs Ganondorf, specifically because of Bowser not possessing a method to kill Ganon, but also how they argue Ganon killing Bowser. That and the animation is pretty mid all things considered. I definitely would love to see Bowser in another Death Battle at some point. Aside from that, another fight that’s bad imo is Tracer vs Scout. There’s some heavy Overwatch bias in that fight, and despite the animation being done by Torian (if I recall correctly) who’s known for amazing 3D Death Battles, the animation showed Scout standing and walking more than actually moving. Plus, it’s wild how they gave Tracer a “bullet dodging” feat, even though it’s clear she just got out of the direction Widowmaker was aiming, because that was the point, Widowmaker was trying to get her to do so. But they also discredit Scout’s three rocket feat, even though it’s clear to anyone with a brain that they hit him dead on. Other than that, I know some people gave the first Link vs Cloud a lot of slack. To this day I still hear people say they gave Link everything and gave Cloud the bare essentials. But that couldn’t be further from the truth since both receive the bare essentials, and if Smash or Dissidia doesn’t expand on something, they’d look at the main games. So, aside from Link winning that episode, the only thing controversial about it is entirely made up.

I'm surprised that Yang vs Tifa hasn't been brought up, that fight was and still is a massive sore spot for death battle viewers to this day, between the timing of the merger with RT, the blatant advertisement for volume three of RWBY at the end of the fight, the fact that people have noticed that death battle inflated the results of Yang's pillar feat by using compressive force instead of sheering force and it's no wonder people thought this fight was rigged to advertise RWBY. Personally, i don't think that was the case, i think it was just one of those oopsies that happens at times on death battle, though i can't blame people for thinking there was funny business going on because of the above factors. I just wish people would let go of it already, stop saying that death battle is going to be biased towards RWBY whenever a RWBY MU is announced and stop making blatant spite MUs like Hulk vs Yang, it's been over 8 years at this point, it's time to stop letting a single video about fictional characters fighting each other live rent free.

It all depends on how fast their minds work. The fight would end on who would register the threat first shadow or mewtwo. Cause if Mewtwo does first it is an insta win for him. If not the question is if Mewtwo could survive super shadow just like Vegeta before him. And I'm not sure if super shadow has any defense against mental attack though.

How could you possible forgot about the tracer vs scout fight? I was there the first week the battle got released and many dislikes as well as many comments pointing how wrong the battle was were being deleted, everytime i tried to pit a dislike it just didn't stick and im still mad about how they handle boths the animation and the information in that battle, they contradicte themselves in that battle a lot and miscalled some of scoyt's weapons while completely ignoring all of the feats of scout that gives him super-human strenght, endurance and durability like the fact that a single sip of his soda can kill thousands of humans or how much strong he needs to be in order to double-jump in mid-air, the fact he uses the recoil of a weapon made specifically for australian super-humans in order to jump higher in the air without losing his arms in the process, gow string must be scout in order to send a heavy 25 mts in the air when he uses his home-run or the three rocket launcher feat that got dismissed simply because they didn't see any of them touching his skin completely ignoring scout was in the centwr of said explosion and was previously wounded and bleeding before getting that blast and was still alive afterwards and during rhe animated fight they used a beta model for scout instead the current one and all of the weapons he used in the fight were from other games like the coyote-A from devil may cry, a normal bat probablt from gta or who knows, a pistol used in previous 3d battles, a weird mix berween force-A nature and the scattergun and a can of soda with the name bonk in it which seems ti be the only thing they did right while for tracer they gave her abilities and hax that's she didn't have like close combat abilities or that fake super reaction time while not going deep into hiw does her bomb really works or if she can produce more from her suit and gave her feats she didn't make like "defeating widowmaker and reaper" which they never mentioned it was mostly winstin and a kid who did most of the job while she was hiding while they said "scout defeated the bread monstet with help of his friends" which is true but didn't do the same for tracer.

Plus the you know ben can’t die as a feature of the watch the fact deqth battle just made up a effect of the omnitrix the fact they ignored two aliens that completely counter hal, upgrade and chromeastone the fact alien x blink can erase hal but they decided for him to randomly come back from being erased Yeah its one of the few death battles that feels like this character is my favourite so he wins and personally i think thats why its one of the worst death battles

Raven vs White Phoenix is anothrr controversial fight, im surprised that barelly anyone on youtube even says that. Like, even in DB's discord they admit that the phoenix can burn sould AND it is constantly protecting Jean's soul, it is literally in the comics. If people overlooked it since this season is, admitted by them, made without much info since they are more focused on getting these episodes out then I would understand but noone even bothers to talk about this fight.

We don’t need to talk about Ben 10 vs Green Lantern. As a green lantern fan myself, there research for GL was so horrid that I don’t even need to argue multiverse+ Alien X 1. Krona clearly separated himself from entites, we see him putting them in the other guardians and they popped out of the other guardians when he was killed. In a fight where Krona did have the entites he easily defeated Hal Jordan, Atroicitus and Larfleeze. Recall that Larfleeze is so powerful that he once defeated the entire GL corps on his own including Hal and Kyle. Hal going all out with raw willpower isn’t a valid argument when considering another feat Hal Jordan defenders conveniently fail to mention 2. Hal doesn’t scale to Parallax, every single time he’s ever defeated or held his own Parallax he’s had help in one form or another. On one occasion Hal had gotten some of the leftover mobius power from someone defeating Time Trapper, another time he needed Krona’s power gauntlet to match his Paralaxx self, which he doesn’t scale to as later on the gauntlet turned into a creature call cataclysm that easily stomped Hal. When Paralaxx possessed Barry Allen, he was weakened by the compassion and hope entites 3. Hal’s fight with Parallax Sinestro in particular is taken massively out of context. Sinestro himself realized that his power was cut off due to Soranik rescuing the people that were used to power the Fear Engine. Hal Jorden went all out, turning into raw willpower and….killed himself while blowing up the warworld, Sinestro barely survived the blast, as did Lyssa Drak, so sinsetro had his power nerfed to that of an above average yellow lantern. Hal killed himself to make a planet level blast further debunking arguments about krona 4. Hal disarming the U-Bomb is once again massively taken out of context. First and foremost Hal needed the entire lantern corps funneling power to him to achieve this. Not only that but it was explicitly stated that he DISARMED the U-bomb, instead of containing the blast as people claim. 5. Hal killing Mandrakk means absolutely nothing if you’d read that story. Mandrakk was hit with heat vison from a bunch of Supermans across the multiverse before the stake, and even then we learn later in that story that Superman used Mr. Miracle’s wishing machine to ensure certain outcomes. Finally, this wasn’t the same Mandrakk. It was Rox Ogama, the new Mandrakk who has far less feats. 6. Hal didn’t defeat captain atom, once atom got serious he one-shotted Hal in the exact comic they referenced in the Q and A 7. Green Lanterns who survived the crisis where weakened by it, and even then, New 52 completely rebooted the GL corps as a whole including Hal 8. Kyle Rayner did not contain a big bang. Impriex’s power was specifically stated to be the power of several galaxies, not a big bang. More importantly, it was established that the only reason Imperiex’s “big bang attack” would have destroyed the universe was because of a convoluted loophole of the earth being essential to the fabric of reality thanks to the crisis events 9. Hal does not scale to any of Superman’s feats. Hal is consistently not a match for kryptonians. Admittedly there was one instance where Hal beat Zod when Zod was amped by two suns, but this is a very clear outlier. Hal was once easily defeated by a standard Zod and taken prisoner, and needed a special phantom ring to contented with cyborg Superman Ben 10 universe is infinite in size. The null void goes on forever and it’s connected to the real universe. The Canon War of the Worlds novelization also mentioned the universe being infinite in size. So Alien X recreating the infinite sized universe would surpass Hal in attack potency and attack speed If we were we’re talking about the actual best green lantern, Kyle Rayner, as a white lantern, then Alien X would absolutely lose to Kyle

So I believe only y was used is that despite Mewtwo being able to go X in the manga all on its own, Y is more shown for Mewtwo to go all on its own with the anime and manga and I believe in Super Mystery dungeon, regardless both characters felt downplayed in the research so that could be why a lot of people also see it as bad

Wasn't it made clear Toph has a hard time sensing exactly where is someone via sand. (In short: Gara literally fought someone more blind than the average blind person and still loss) This is also ignoring Garas helping feat in Stopping Madara's giant meteor feat. Yeah I know Toph was holding down a large building. But a meteor as big if not bigger than Godzilla Earth is easily thousands times more impressive even if one argues Gara only did 1/4 of the work. Metal bending can be helpful, but Gara's jar can literally turn the landscape into a sand desert. (Yes, at the time those feats were there for him in the Manga at the time. So the, info wasn't there isn't an excuse. They also ended up making this same mistake with Asha."

@@DangerDan64 The excuse for why that's not the case is during the Sozin's Comet Finale episodes (I believe the 1st one) where she says she's gotten better at sandbending before crafting a scale model of Ba Sing Se, Earth King and his bear included. Basically, that "vision" debuff was nullified offscreen by the end of the series. Not like it makes up for the rest of the BS in the fight. The fact that his own dad saw an attack he fired off and equated it to Shukaku the One Tail should tell you that Gaara stomps. That and his fight with Lee at the very least.

I hate what the community responded to with Macho Man vs. Kool-Aid Man. It's just an animation that treats Macho Man with respect and have next to no gore into how he died. It went so outta hand both fellow DEATH BATTLE! fans Nemesis Bloodryche and Biff Weed had to address to the stupidity of how the match ended up. I think Macho Man vs. Kool-Aid Man gets a bad rep from that alone, and why I think it didn't deserve to be the least viewed fight of all. And while I still like the decision to make the episode, it still disappointed me with how little they used, and the Boomstick Dad story wasn't for everyone. But they tried their best. And I gave it like a 6/10.

And not only that didn't have him use the aliens from alien force or the ultimate aliens. They only use the aliens from the ben 10 show and not all the aliens from the series so far. So, it was an unfair match up from the start.

I know how sexist this sounds but just think for a second, every time a male character wins is only if its one-sided (aka: watch dante vs bayonetta). Esdeath vs grey is the one i hate the most because its the most obvious.

I think another controversial episode is Obito vs Vader. Regardless of how you think of either character, the feats IN THE VERY EPISODE (in the black boxes) would give Vader a significant advantage to the point where it wouldn't even be a contest. They also go out of their way to say how hard it was for Obito to summon the God Tree/Infinite Tsukiyomi, only for him to just..whip it out? I think there's fair arguments for both sides to be the winner, but their analysis was objectively flawed and certain feats for both characters (Such as Anakin controlling the Mortis Gods being given as a feat to Vader, or Obito being able to just summon the God Tree despite that requiring a huge amount of prep in the show) should not have ever been considered. While not as bad as Ben 10 vs Green Lantern, or not nearly as rushed as Shadow vs MewTwo (because the fight is beautiful, even if I disagree with it entirely), I think I'd still place it within the top 10 most controversial

As a death battle fan and a Ben 10, I’ve hated Ben 10 vs green lantern (also scout vs tracer but I rather not talk about how much that match infuriates me) due to the fact that once Ben went Alien X, there was nothing Hal could do to counter it since Alien X controls all of reality. Also someone by the name of @kaisernostalgiaseeker142 made a fantastic alternate ending to the battle and shows what would actually happen. There’s also the ink tank, a Ben 10 lore channel, who also proved that Hal couldn’t beat Ben even without Alien X.

I was there the first week the tracer vs scout was released, the amount of bias and xheats they gave to tracer to make tracer win was clear as water, many comments and dislikes (mine included) were deleted for pointing just how unfair and bias the battle was, scout had super-human strenght, meta-durability, a high and potent metabolism, great resistance to pain and lots of awesome weapons and still none of those were mentioned and while they gave tracer false skills and feats she didn't have nor has.

@@elnovillomapuchedehomerus2412 also to leopold the brave (he did a scout vs tracer battle as well but includes the other stuff for scout) gave the scout all of his weapons which are canon thanks to heavy mentioning some of his other mini guns. Also scout would be faster than tracer since scout could dodge the lasers and electricity of some of the weapons like the short-circuit, tf2 cow mangler, and the bison.

Aside from the ones people mentioned here. The one I personally saw problems with was Dio vs Alucard, I'm all for making basically a "composite version" of a character, but they didn't do it at all for Alucard. The biggest showings of bias was the physical feats they layout. Because even though Alucard tanked cards that can easily split bullets made to destroy tanks, slamming into multiple buildings and even a blade enhanced to kill him, all of these things failed to kill him btw. While he's physically strong enough to destroy and move things like giant battle ship carriers, along side "The Sea of Blood" which they mentioned his feats in total only amounted to 11 tons. (Yeah, I'm not the best individual for math, but even a dumbass can tell you, you left out so many feats to come to that conclusion.) These claims might be a bit far fetched, but if we're going to believe Dio in part 3 is near Planetary by statements alone. There were a few characters in the series Hellsing that flat out stated no matter what armory they had, there's no way for them to successfully kill Alucard. Given how the show is basically our world, just that vampire and other supernatural beings exist. It's not much of a stretch to say Alucard can tank Nukes. Here's the evidence why this can be the case. One, if it really just take several bombs to clear him out, why didn't they just do that to him the moment he went level 0 since that's him at his most vulnerable? Two, it was shown the blue Flames can easily burn the vampires and even Warewolf stronger than Searas and even more durable than Alucard. Yet, this same flame couldn't really burn Alucard away, he just stood there tanking all of it. (Yes, it is made clear Alucard needs a moment to start regenerating. He can't regenerate while still being attacked) Three, it was stated in the beginning that Alucard's corpse was not within any form of records. Why would that be the case? Sure ideally it's to hide a power weapon like him, but if the most he can do is city level damage, that's not saying much. So realistically it makes more sense to hide a potential world ending being. So no government needs to know about his existence. Given how he controls a sea of blood, it really dosen't sound like an exaggeration for how much blood he can truly control. So more accurately, Alucard could easily match him in strength, since he never needs to worry about loosing a body part. Same can't be said for Dio in the span of a fight. Loose a limb and it could be his end. (Yes, he does have his speed advantages and there's no debating that. Just that Dio is consistently cocky, so much so he tends to let far weaker characters harms him. Even so far to recklessly waste his time stop ability. Because again, Alucard only needs to take a leg and that speed isn't going to matter anymore.)

Or how saying his silver bullets wouldn't work on Dio by saying "he's a vampire, but not really" and even calling him a vampire in Johnathan's analysis during the his and Tanjiro's fight, which happend before Dio's and Alucard's. Or when in Hellsing, Alucard's silver bullets work on more than just vampires. Like Anderson completely nullifying his regeneration, missing chunks of his arm and a fourth of his head. Or completely missing how Alucard's healing works. And if you want to go literally, since stand are considered the manifestations of one's fighting "spirit", even touching one of the bullet's could cause some form of damage The World.

Yes, Ben 10's fight always leaves a sour taste in my mouth, as a Ben 10 fan I already knew that he would lose against Hal, the scaling of the comics was simply too much for Alien X, but the way they did the final death and their explanation was not credible, plus the fact that they used Ben 10 as a child still bothers me, it would not have been incredible if they used Ben 10,000 or at least the teenage Ben, besides the fact that they wasted many aliens in favor of only using the classic ones that for the most part are almost the weakest that he has, the technical section the episode is good but it was not a good representation of the ben 10 franchise

It’ll slow Dio down until he gets a new one. Alucard won’t be phased as shown by Death Battle debunking itself. Dio Brando is only wall level. He is not even comparable to The World. Dio ain’t dodging bullets either. He’s not above the Pillar Men. Kars would mollywhop Dio and drink him. The World can only hold Kars off for so long. Alucard’s on Kars’s level of raw strength and speed as shown by the show and immortal. They capped hard in that fight. For Ben’s battle IQ, watch his fight in the Null Void with Vilgax in the first series. Then remember he’s clearly gotten smarter since then since that fight’s at age 10.
