Controversial Issues in Diving Part 2

In July we discussed several controversial topics that commonly arise in diving. Join us this month as we have another open and honest discussion about four issues that divers love to debate.
• What do the various grades of oxygen mean?
• Should you reveal your highest level of certification when signing up for a dive trip or getting onto a dive boat?
• Do oxygen cylinders need to be visually inspected annually?
• In technical diving, should a decompression cylinder be worn on the left or the right?

I do the O2 through my local gas supply shop. "welding, ambulance etc..." I just turn it in once a year, pay 30 dollars and get a fresh one. DOT standards in the US I believe mandate annual inspection. It makes it simple to just walk in and exchange my O2 tanks for a new one. It also makes sure the O2 hasn't gone bad from sitting to lone.
