For those wondering why the run by Forsett wasn't reversed, this was just after the rule that all TDs became automatically reviewed was implemented, and when they created the rule they added a piece that if you tried to challenge a play that was eligible to be automatically reviewed it was an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and the play immediately became ineligible to be reviewed. If he hadn't throw the challenge flag it would've been automatically reviewed and the call would've been changed, but because he did they play couldn't be challenged. The rule was changed that offseason to avoid situations like this

The Lions are known to get screwed by bad calls and officiating on Thanksgiving, I feel for that fanbase. That bad call with Forsett clearly being down and they still ruled it a TD, thats more bad luck cause their coach shouldn't have thrown the flaf to challenge that call when all scoring plays are automatically reviewed. That infamous coin flip fiasco against the Steelers in 1998 and they ended up losing that game too. Just a snake bitten franchise. Haven't won a division since 1993, havent won a playoff game since 1991, havent won a championship since the 50s. For anyone who is a devoted Lions fan I respect you and your loyalty, I don't know how you do it.

Good showing. Might I suggest the sequel on Fox that year in 2012, Redskins-Cowboys? RG3 shines on Thanksgiving. Only time Washington has beat Dallas on Turkey Day :) Also the last time Dallas wore their gorgeous 1960s white helmet throwbacks. The one shell rule changed that in 2013.
