Sometimes Mera and scarlet actively ignore what is said on the show it seems 😅😅 like I did not get Popstar bench’s reference but she clearly stated that it was a reference to something in Philippine pop culture. And even if she didn’t say that I would still be able to make that assumption, as why would she randomly do that for no reason??? Same with tita baby, I don’t think everything has to make sense to us American viewers.

I think this summarizes much of the problem with this season, queens have to comply to US standards if the want to succeed, and whenever a queen respects or make homage to their own culture they get penalized. It giving serious colonization and asimilation vibes.

as someone who did two projects on annie oakley in elementary school, i don't think alyssa knew anything about annie oakley beyond generic guns. i think there was a lot more she could have worked with, but she's alyssa so of course she mostly did alyssa

I can't blame Vanity for being in her head when the judges keep putting her in the bottom for no reason every week. Let's be honest, the season is bad, the first mistake in my opinion is to treat this season as a regular allstars season when it's not a regular allstars season at all. All the challenges and judging are with american standards which is causing the viewers being frustrated and the queens are not shining the way they could have.

IMHO, this GAS edition would have been better received by viewers if it had: a non-elimination format (allowing ALL queens to show their entire skill-set and runway packages), with more international judges (less US/RuPanel bias)... Heck, while we are at it, let's throw in Olympic type scoring!? 😊🎉

Another layer of depth to Pythia’s portrayal of Zeus that I don’t see many people mentioning, or maybe even noticed, is that she played Zeus as a “bro” likely as an homage/reference to frat boys and the himbo energy of guys in frat houses since fraternities have Greek roots and origins. To be able to think of all of this and successfully incorporate it all into her snatch game character, along with making/adapting her costume, at the last minute makes her performance all the more impressive :)

I’m so glad that Pythia switched her character. Don’t get me wrong, she might have done well as Arnold. However, she admitted that she needed to be prepared to feel funny, etc. So by switching last minute, it allowed her to be present and totally lean into the improv of it all. Her “prep” was her overall knowledge. It was chef’s kiss.

I mean Pythia is not from the US so likely didn't have frat houses in mind when playing the characters. Like it's cool that you're making that connection but that doesn't mean that that was also a deliberate choice of Pythia. I feel like she based the character more on Greek fuckboys than anything else. It's a bit weird to give this a US-centric interpretation when Pythia has never lived there.

I feel like based on snatch game alone I wouldn't mind Kitty winning (even though I prefered Pythia). But the way they edited this epsiode and set up a whole storyline it somehow made it feel very wrong that Pythia did not win, especially with her runway. And the critiques from the judges? Just based on that alone I thought Pythia would win. It was such a weird set up or edit.

Just a background on the character Popsyar Bench and Khianna did, the superhero's name is Super Inggo who uses flip flops and other child toys as a weapon, hence, Khianna's props and doing the leap frog. Popstar Bench also named her partner Super Engga (wordplay from Inggo), which basically means super drunk in Filipino gay lingo.

Producers have ears, and yes I think Pythia should have won based on the edit, but perhaps Kitty had way more jokes… BUT, in the Untucked, Pythia said something like “ I don’t need to win the crown, I’ve already won by being here”, which producers would use against her. Flippant remarks will deduct marks… and make them think you aren’t there to win.

Unfortunately it wasnt the prompt of the challenge wasnt it? They were supposed to makeover into super queens. For one, she did makeover her mom but she basically mirrored herself to her mom, making them identical. Whereas Maxi did different takes of the same kind on him and her father. Second, Zymba did not look like a super queen, whereas Maxie was totally a superhero, a celestial one.

Hi Mera and Scarlett! Y’all look lovely as always! I think the main issue for me with GAS so far has been the editing. I find it so strange that the two people performing the best on the season are getting the nastiest edit. Compare it to Plane Jane who was the obvious villain edit but also had a lot of good moments as well so by the end of the season you grew to love her. Kitty and Kween have had pretty much no positive moments shown. It makes me like the season less because the people I should be rooting for are edited to where we are supposed to hate them. I do think some of the judging has been questionable but that isn’t the fault of the queens (mostly). Nelly is the clear underdog and the editing makes it even more obvious as well, but I do hope she makes it far. It would be nice if we had more time to get to know everyone equally and not just specific queens but that’s just my opinion. I would like to see another season, but they need to make some tweaks to the format and judging or it will never work. Also, I think we can do without some of the stereotype jokes.

no idea what these GAS editors have against kitty scott claus but they are not showing her ANYYY grace at all! they are only showing her being shady and a bitch to the queens around her, even when you can tell she is just being playfully shady, the play the rattlesnake noises in the background. even i am having a hard time liking her this season, and i can tell they are being purposeful with her edit. when she gets into it with nelly over the fabrics, the edit shows US all the real and valid reasons nehellenia is upset to make us be even more against kitty. idk like has she been a bitch to nelly specifically this season, yes, but the editors are choosing to show us ONLY bad stuff about her, even in the subtle way they edit the sound effects and music in the background. they played the game of thrones-esque music in the back of her winning snatch game for crying out loud lol! i just feel bad bc we all know how ruthless the fandom is and no one deserves to be at the receiving end of that sort of vitriol over a reality tv show filmed 2 years ago, ESPECIALLY when the person(s) these fans are "sticking up for" have said to cut that shit out! like be normal please!

This was one of the episodes where the judges got it right and people are STILL complaining. We get it, Ru doesn’t always make the best decisions. But we should let the season unravel before having such strong opinions. People are saying Kitty didn’t deserve the win only bc of Ru protecting her earlier on. Nobody had control of the snatch game like her. The rest of the placements seemed fair as well even if we all have different thoughts on the placements…
