I absolutely agree with all ur points here. If a girl so called batameez which i dnt find here ask Sahil Adeem sahib to apologize for using a wrong word, then Sahil Adeem should have apologized. This will add to his greatness. He wanted to turn the table in a chauvinistic way which didn't suit him. He started to defend himself and put his ego before her. He is a great scholar and greatness demands surrender of ur ego. Speaking the truth does not mean disrespect. It's extremely unfortunate that our respected women have no interest in islam at all . They are spending their times and energies on dramas,movies, WhatsApp, KZbin, following singers, actors and athletes from non Muslim backgrounds. What Sahil Adeem preaches is True Islam , but his way of doing that is very inappropriate .. not just in this program but everywhere .. understanding that how far the muslims are from the Deen of Allah , one should figure out a better approach .. whats the use of this effort which pushes them further away .. also there is reactionary arrogance in his tone which he needs to settle with himself by psychoanalysis , before coming so widely in public .. there is a lot of Tazkia needed whenever one is handling such important matters .

Fighting and standing for women's rights shouldn't mean condoning and endorsing a bad attitude. The girl reffered to as "choti si batchi" doesn't look that young at all but she does come across as rude/ arrogant, disrespectful and uninformed!! The very meaning of the word "jahil"!! My view is that haughtiness shouldn't be mistaken with boldness!! Sahil Adeem kept on treating her with respect and kindness. So he didn't do anything wrong.

I got curios about this whole "Jahil" thing and watched the video. Watching the video, I realized that our esteemed Scholar continued being stubborn and egoistic rather than acknowledging his misuse of words and apologizing. The girl in the show called him out on his "use of language" but the way Scholar responded to the girl was textbook example of manipulation and gaslighting. Also, those saying that the Scholar was being polite in the show fail to understand that one can still gaslight and manipulate the conversation while keeping their cool. To put the things in context, the word "Jahil" does not mean someone who lacks knowledge or information. We all don't know everything and there are always things to learn. Also humans are prone to commit mistakes. But the word "Jahil" defines someone who does not know and also refuses to learn the things they don't know. This was the reason that the Arab noble at the time of Holy Prophet PDUH was titled as "Abu Jahl" because he was not only unfamiliar with the truth but also refused to learn it and continued his atrocities towards Muslims. From that definition, most of the population one may come across in Pakistan can be termed as "Jahil" because people rarely admit when they are wrong, and do not take any ownership of their words and actions. From what I saw, the Scholar declared Pakistani women as "Jahil" because they didn't know the meaning of "Taghut". I wonder how many men in Pakistan knew the meaning of this term before all of that happened? Would the Scholar also consider them "Jahil". Did even Khalil-ur-Rahman know the meaning of Taghut (It really does not matter because his antics say it all)? Thank you mam for sharing your view.

Being a woman I think that we should not support such behaviours. They both were wrong but the thing is , Is this necessary to disrespect anyone just to prove their point? This is heart breaking to see that people have no sense left and they lack basic ethics of communication. Such shows are organised just to get some ratings and they don't care about the sensitivity of the topic. All they want is to spread more chaos and aggression in the already insensitive society.
