Hi, Thank you for posting these tutorials, they have really saved me. I was building my website on Weebly until I realised it looked so bad on mobiles even though they were supposed to be responsive. I wasted so much time because I had been building it part time for 2 years along side my full time job as a teacher. After discovering your tutorials I took the plunge and went with Wordpress. I have followed your build a website tutorial and that is coming on great, I've learned so much. Then I followed parts of the Blog tutorial for that part of my website, again it's coming on well. Now I want to add an online store, in particular for digital products, so I was looking to import the shop page from your template Planet Earth Online Score but couldn't find it in starter templates. Hi Tyler, thank you so much for explaining how to create a website from scratch so clearly....I am so grateful and it has been super helpful. I have honestly learned so much and my Daughter has also subscribed and created her own website using your tutorial too. I would like to ask a question please... I have almost finished creating a website using your planet earth template for sewing and alterations. I also make some craft items on my sewing machine that I would like to sell and wondered if I would be able to add a shop page to my existing site? If so, how would I go about this please or would it would be better to start again and use the ecommerce earth starter template instead? Once again, thank you so much for the tutorials...they are the best!

To add a shop page to your existing site created with the Planet Earth template, you can indeed install WooCommerce. Then, you can follow this tutorial for WooCommerce customization to add a shop and start selling your craft items directly from your current website.

Hi Tyker. I am from Malaysia and I am the fresh beginner in WordPress. Love your videos!!!!! I am following all your steps, you always find an easy to help us. I was able to create my first website. Thank you so much for your time and great effort to make these videos clear and easy to understand setting this up step by step. A big thank you and very much appreciated. But currently, i have stuck with dropdown menu issues, i do hope you can help me on that: My dropdown menu on the Shop Section have 8 product sub category, but my product sub-category drop down doesn’t look like what in your demo. The 8 product sub-category overlapping to each other. Once again thank you very much and keep up the good work.

Hi Tyler, this video is better than the previous ones. 2 notes though...1) Why is the shop page not editable with Elementor ? 2) Can you add a login page to allow access to pages reserved for employees ? Many thanks.

I appreciate your feedback! The Shop page can be edited with Elementor Pro, but in this tutorial, I used the free version of Elementor along with the Astra theme to customize the Shop page. You can create user accounts for employees and grant them access to specific pages. They can log in via /wp-admin, but their access will be limited based on the permissions you assign to them.
