The cockpit is so real it looks from the inside as though you could just take off! You have much patience. Thanks for the videos of your progress.

Looks great - even close-up like a real B-36 cockpit. I wish I knew of any B-36 crew still around, the few I knew are gone. Don’t know much about the T-18 housing, more often didn’t have this. The T-18 was designed in 1950 and apparently on the B-36 in 1951 - before there was only the large “FTB Mk4” from 1948 and the short-lived T-4 designed in late 1949. The T-18 was needed to handle both the Mk-4 and Mk-6, which the others couldn’t do well.

Apparently there were several T-boxes on each aircraft and all had specific functions. In pictures I have seen three different models.

I hadn’t seen that, but early-on the result of the new dashboard boxes was they didn’t need the on-board weaponeer anymore.

Just made a donation, on behalf of the 42nd Bombardment Wing, 69th, 70th, & 75th Bomb Squadrons, who flew the B-36 at Limestone [Loring] Air Force Base from 1953-1956.
