Nuns in convent schools don't work for money , They sacrifice their life without getting married and dedicate their life to Educating the poor and unprivileged kids. Is this what they deserve? Do you know their salary? Not more than 1500 ₹ (presently) a month. Doesn't matter how big the school they work is. I remember back then in an orphanage school my school Principal would buy Biscuits for us kids alongwith clips and hair pins for my class girls with her 300 ₹monthly salary. We are what we are today because of their sacrifices. I studied all my life in catholic schools and never saw anything like forced conversations bla bla. I cried after seeing this. They sacrifice their whole life for your child's education. Is this how you respect them? These political parties don't have any work they are politicising education for their benefits.

Hindu schools follow the same rules as Christian ones do. There are reputed schools run by various Hindu Trusts all over India as well and are on par.

There were no Hindu schools only gurukuls for upper caste. If not for imported democracy which happened as an accidental due to the invading British ,all the low caste people would have remained uneducated.

@@smathias7840 No Sir. The oldest Hindu school was founded in Calcutta in 1817. It was called Hindu School. It is on Bankim Chatterjee Street. There were gurukuls too dating back to BC 5000. All castes were welcome. However, the vedas were taught only to Brahmins as the divisions were based on labour and not on caste. The Brahmins earned their livelihood by teaching the vedas. Gurukuls have been making a comeback since the 1970s and are doing a good job of alternative schooling too for those who do not want the usual 10+2+ system. Ramakrishna Mission opened a school in 1966 in Aalo, Arunachal Pradesh. Students of this school are respected and hold important positions in the administrative and police service. My Christian neighbours are Goans. They too practice caste. My friend looks down upon anyone who is non brahmin. She says she is one. Mendonca. Im not sure of the history behind it. She is 80 now. Life is more peaceful if we dont politicize religion and stop bashing each other at the drop of a hat. The holier than thou attitude only adds fuel to the fire.

I have seen gurukul teachers teaching in schools in Kanpur, their own kids commited suicide because of lack of possibilities but the day next he was at school teaching. These schools don't get any help from GOVt, there are no laws to help them. Gurukuls have DIED and Bharat was still unaware.

Now onwards there should be written on School Gate by Govt Dept and School management that - " Here in the school Conversion takes place so Hindu and Muslim children are banned for Quality Education. Let their parents send them to Dharam shala of Bajrang Dal, ABVP and RSS."

Not necessarily. Both Christian and Hindu schools offer Catholic and non Catholic prayers or a general prayer. Lets be fair to all.

@@smartindian4899 in a convent where at least one teacher as I remember used to entice students to come over to Church... it used to happen in a very discreet manner those days... now a days they do it openly. The secular dogs will never understand this.
