I'm that aimless arrow Lost from my very start Violence without purpose Born of broken hearts No one will ever guide me As I sail through the air Now I just bring sadness In those who choose to care

This song is a monument built and destroyed in 2 minutes and 23 seconds.

every single album is a masterpiece, emotions brought by hard notes and pure vocals. been 10 years since i last saw them live, i cant wait for the next face to face.

Does anyone else think that the vocalist Bannon and Joe Picciotto of Fugazi sound alike?

the "aimless arrow" at the end sounds a lot like ian mackaye as well. if you played it to me and didn't tell me it was converge i would probably think fugazi came back as a metalcore band lol

I think u mean Guy Picciotto & yes here & on songs like Lonewolves I agree. Some of Bannon's lyrics as well as songs like Lonewolves remind me of Rites of Spring, Guy's first band; very emotive & introspective but not in an overly affected way - just committed, passionate musicians. Also, very Vic Bondi (lyrically) from Articles of Faith fame. Converge's approach, their DIY ethic & the personal is the political mindset, reminds me of the DC scene back in 80's & 90's.

@decadepasts Fucking right dude, no other band in a long time has put out material as constantly awesome and mind bending as Converge. Buying this the second it comes out. A PHYSICAL copy of course.

I'm thinking more Glassjaw's vocalist, only without the clean singing and with better screams- Daryl's are a little squeaky even on Glassjaw's best stuff.
