I got a feeling that a lot of Arcane fans are gonna be disappointed in the Ekko and Jinx interactions in this game but you have to remember that League and Arcane are two different universes. The major difference being thier ages, since in league Ekko is only 16-17 years old while jinx is in her early 20s but In Arcane they are around the same age, Its also unclear if Ekko was even part of Vi and Powders gang when they were younger in League lore like he was in Arcane. So pretty much in League Jinx was pretty much just the older girl that Ekko knew when he was younger and he had a little crush on her until she went crazy and he probably wasn't part of Vi and Powders gang due to how young he would have been. While in Arcane Ekko and Jinx are the same age, its confirmed they were in the same gang, and grew up with each other. So pretty much different verses, different Ekko and Jinx with different histories with each other.

Riot seems intent to at least push the current League universe in the arcane direction. I heard some rumour that after the success of Arcane the higherups at riot almost demanded all of league lore be in that universe, so a few projects got scrapped or put on hold so they could fit into the arcane narrative.

I think people are being pretty naive for expecting anything Arcane related in this game. It's clear (At least for me) that Jinx and Ekko LoL versions (and pretty much any character in it) are much more ludic than in Arcane, which are more narrative-driven. That's why (again, at least for me) story-wise they are more focused solemny in their rivalry in the game than anything involving their complicated and dichotomous relationship.

Also this game was in production before Arcane released. Unless you expected the writers to suddenly stop and rewrite the story to fit Arcane when they were already over a year into development, the best that we could have hoped for was an Easter egg (like that glimpse of the Last Drop at the end, that was cool) Besides, I’m like 80% sure Camille doesn’t even exist in the Arcane universe, considering that they gave the role of Hextech inventor to Jayce, which kinda removes the point of Clan Ferros.

This is her actual lore , in arcane the whole lore is different, but in actual league lore, she is narcissist and xenophobis who just want to wreck havoc and destroy here and there skelter

Depends from the media. However canon Jinx was always like this. Always smiling, screaming, willingly to create mess, and possibly giving problems to VI. The interesting part is that canon Jinx background is probably very similar to Arcane Jinx, with a dramatic explosion induced by her that killed innocents in the fire. But the details are different, and Silco was not there in canon (still, she could be involved in freeing Warwick from Singed).

I do personally feel as though they should just make Arcane full canon at this point and recreate the characters in that personality, it was well received and is a good platform for them to have a solid canon story

@@EnkindleYT I don't think that will happen. The story of Zaun and Piltover is closely connected with a very large number of heroes. The same Camilla in the arcane version simply cannot exist if you don't replace her Hextech heart with something else. Too little time has passed since the opening of Hextech in Arcane. And in fact, not even Piltover, but Jayce personally has almost a monopoly on technology based on it
