nChain's Alessio Pagani and his team are working on IPv6 Bitcoin-certified addresses tied to the Metanet. On the sidelines of the IEEE COINS Conference, the nChain research director says this would be a very efficient concept as users could use a wallet with the same private key to generate IPv6 and Bitcoin addresses. "This is a way to create new Web3 Metanet experiences," he said. Additionally, Pagani notes that with the evolution of Metanet and Web3, users can control and monetize their data and create new decentralized identities-thanks to the scalable blockchain network, BSV.
