We had a Parrot who was with us from (1972 till 1992) passed away due to old age we found him injured in our kitchen garden in summer of he used to copy crows ,hens and later we tought him to say mitthu ,later he used to call us all by name ,as baby,baby ,mamma,papa our home names traveled with us from Punjab to Delhi ,to Bangalore to Mumbai,and back to Delhi as dad was in government service he used to like tea ,rice,and green chillis when ever we gave him water in a bigger utensil he used to take bath.still have fond memories

When i was in school, the school had a mini zoo thingy where there were all sorts of animals and birds, like pigeons, ducks, swans, turkeys, rabbits, hamsters and what not. So there were 2 parrots there, and the zoo thingy was very close to the school boundary and there was a house right next to the school. So when the phone rang in that house, it could be heard very loudly and clearly from the zoo, and the parrots learned that sound after being exposed to them like all the time. And they used to randomly make those phone sounds every now and then. and those sounds were so accurate, it was impossible to differentiate the real sounds from the copied one. The house owners went crazy. Meanwhile the kids at the school taught those parrots swear words, and those parrots went crazy as well. The principal and director of the school went crazy as well. They had to release the parrots because of extreme profanity delivered by them all the time accompanied by telephone sounds. And lets talk about the rabbits for once, those motherfuckers used to hump all the time. Those fuckers had no chill. The ducks were fucking annoying and smelly as fuck, they used to chill in their pond all the time and fucking scream at the top of their lungs with their screeching quack quacks. The hamsters or guinea pigs(I'm not sure) used to fuck around everywhere, they had built their own underground tunnel network and they used to poke the rabbits for the lulz and then used to take shelter in their caves, the rabbits had a hard time being bullied by those fuckers. The turkeys always wanted to kill anyone that was in their sight. They were angry all the time and wanted to hurt you with their beak or whatever. Its been 10 years since i left school, and i still dont have a fucking idea what that zoo was. I can still remember the smell. Ahhhh the good ol times.
