Wow, Fritzi, I thank you for your vulnerability in disclosing your personal story, which led Peter to provide counsel that can help us all. Thank you so much for this podcast and for the compassionate work that you do.

Amazing podcast. I discovered Peter Crone a couple of years ago when i got sober and stopped the devastating downward spiral i was going but, emotionally, i was still that child that was abused and neglected. I blamed my mother all my life for not protecting me and felt that i could not handle life without using drugs. Peter Crone helped open my eyes to see that i did not have to continue to run that program in my mind and to have compassion for the individuals and circumstances that had harmed me as a child. As an adult, i made the choices to continue to harm myself, probably because i felt i deserved it. Amazing how Peter touched you, Fritzi, in this podcast. I had tears in my eyes.

Amazing stuff. I've been listening to Peter since he first spoke to Aubrey Marcus on his podcast and I felt amazing for a while then I suddenly dipped into my old thought patterns again over the last week or so and have felt a lot of anxiety. This talk managed to bring me back to the point of absolute self love and compassion so thankyou for this. Really helped a lot.

Dear Fritzi, I am so very glad that I subscribe to your channel. Thank you for your openness, love, sharing your life with others and having this conversation with Peter Crone. You were so brave to face his questions about self-responsibility. I came to the point where I realized that I have been living my life for decades according to the way I was violently conditioned at home, by my mother. I am aware that I need to change the way I see and perceive myself, my life. I want to be free too, I am not there yet.

This is excellent. I've just been introduced to Peter Crone. I really like the part about other peoples opinions of us, or our reputations. I've always been so terrified of being judged poorly......but I've had to let go. Theres always such a strong emphasis on reputation, but its impossible to control......other peoples snapshots from a moment in time, possibly passed on to someone else when my name comes up......I just can't help that. I'm going for a solid average instead!

That’s an extremely conflicting feeling . It almost feels like it my fault I was born to a mother who beat me ………..very very difficult concept- to impart.

I believe listeners connect much more IF podcast / interviewers neglect to say THANKYOU for, at least acknowledge interviewer/podcast host praise and edification by the guest. In this instance; in this interview the guest is Peter Crone. #gratefulhowever

actually, you have to keep up with true self care and affirmations. doing what's in your highest good before your best can show up in the world. imagine your favorite heroine reacting in same emotion response, lol not likely. It's about realigning with our souls. I'm calling it training for grace.

I don’t get how you get rid of the core beliefs running your life by just thinking it’s wrong. I mean years of therapy we try to do it and if we cerebrally just decided to not believe it, it’s not like those messages ever go away. Am I missing something? I don’t understand why his ideas are so transformative.
@kirstinstrand62922 жыл бұрын
It seems that you lack confidence, belief and trust in yourself? It starts with how we truly feel about ourselves. Yes?
@kirstinstrand62922 жыл бұрын
Maybe the question to ask is, "why don't I like myself?"
@tnijoo51092 жыл бұрын
@@kirstinstrand6292 in therapy you go over all this stuff and a therapist helps you get at why you have certain beliefs and where they come from but it’s still really hard to change your core beliefs. I’m not sure what you’re getting at. I really like Peter Crone but I still don’t understand what the transformational key is. Maybe it’s helpful for someone who has never gone to therapy, but I guess I was hoping it was something more. I’m not sure if it’s this interview or another of his that he says you’ll only be hurt by something if you think it’s true and that if a person yelled at you in a language you didn’t understand you wouldn’t be hurt. I don’t believe that. I think anytime a person we care about directs contempt at us it can be hurtful. It hurts when people disregard our feelings and show that they don’t care about us or respect us. So maybe I have doubts in some of what he says. My question was more about overcoming implicit emotional conditioning with a conscious decision to not believe the messages behind it. It’s really hard to do. But when he talks about it, it’s as if in only a few sessions his clients can completely change just from a shift in perspective. I’m just wondering what I’m missing. I suppose my question is more directed to someone who has been through a lot of therapy themselves and has studied different theories behind changing core beliefs.

@@tnijoo5109 I have the same thoughts. I like Peter Crone,I think there is truth to what he says but im not sure whether a mental concept and questioning your beliefs is healing enough. Im kind of struggling here, also noticing my own feeling of 'i must be stupid or not enough enlightened' not to get it.. which is kind of sad. Even though I am trying to understand. Which makes me think , somethings not making sense here, i dont know..

Some people seem genetically faulty . Can… come from a loving life of abundance and apparent happiness - yet are drawn to become child rapists /psychopaths . How do you reconcile Those anomalies . I understand they don’t seem to choose to be that way but they will offend .Rape another child if they have the opportunity . … if another animal did that behaviour to a person they would put a permanent end to the cause of the offence.
@sararolfe3 жыл бұрын
Hi... It's helpful to see the genetic and past behaviours as conditions that lead to being born with certain proclivities in this life and future lives. To see that everything is in flux and comes about due to conditions. Nothing is permanent. Everything that manifests is due to impersonal causes and effects. We do have responsibility to act decently if we want to feel content and happy long term , but sometimes people get confused and actunskilfully due to their painful conditioning! It cyclical. When we look with this understanding, compassion naturally arises. We see our own and others behaviour - whether skilful or not, is the product of conditions, and everone is trying their best to be happt.... Even if deeply misguidedly! Killing is then not a permanent end, but an act which will necessarily have a very painful result.... For the killer. There is the possibility to reprogram...
@peachsncream58083 жыл бұрын
@@sararolfe thanks for taking the time to respond …. (I am week )as someone who has been sexually abused as a 5 year old child … I don’t have the strength to not want to have been the person to end that person’s life . I’m also not convinced about the reprogramming perspective as all the evidence I have seen indicates that child Rapists will always reoffend given the opportunity - we are not talking about a bank robber or a drug user ….. there are many many stories of criminals and addiction behaviours being changed - I have not found this to be the case regarding child Rapists…. People don’t choose to like blue or pink over any other colour ? People don’t choose to be strait or gay -male or female in nature - . We can take the spiritual philosophy to a point . If everything that ever happened …was or will be ….is happening here and now . It’s all done what is the point of it at all . I feel like something is missing …..some perspective of something bigger than our human minds can comprehend ‘’ an understanding we are not capable of from the human perspective. I would not go to war and take another human beings life - yet if someone breaks into my home I will not hesitate to . I would gladly pay whatever the price. To end the lives of every child RAPISTS IF IT MEANS I prevent another child from living in my shoes .

@@peachsncream5808 thanks for replying. I do understand, and comiserate with your childhood experience. That was painful. Remenbering it is painful. May youfind your way out of the past and into the present, tobuild a future based on love, and understanding. Lets educate others as best we can, while wiselyknowing that some people will act unskillfully. We can however lwarn from our suffering and thereby transcend it... Ourselves.... Nit easy. Killing others wont resolvea former 'death of innocence' 2 wrongs dont make a right. With the view of manylives, and the law of cause and effect, we can come to know peace of mind.... It takes a lot of patience, humble investigation of our own minds, a big heart and facing the truth of suffering... Not easy! Fare well!
