I would recommend everybody watching it at least a couple of times. I mean coming back every now and then, not looping it over the span of one day or sth. It is like the fifth time for me and by the end, I get to understand something new. It really makes me experience that it is a combination of both the content + your readiness to even notice certain subtleties... Not sure if it makes sense. Thanks, Aubrey, and happy Tuesday everyone

56:20 - Depression is a past expression and anxiety is a future expression. Wow. I've never contextualized it that way. One thing I still have despite having figured out so many things in my life is the anxiety I still feel in my throat when I allow my mind to take over here and there still before shutting it down. THAT's what anxiety is. Holy shit. I feel like knowing this will really help me shut it down completely. Thank you for that!

Powerful distinction that Depression is a past expression and anxiety is a future expression, knowing that now you can in a quiet meditation you can close your eyes, visualize yourself going your past self and taking the energy of anxiety wherever you see or perceive it to be in your body and removing it, trhowing it in a fire pit and watching it immediately dissolve and now you see on your throat your throat a blue light glowing in it and through it and all around it then feel the love and joy inside you well up and in appreciation and gratitude you give thanks IT IS COMPLETE. This episode is transformative work. we are so blessed.

I really resonate with this discussion, especially how Peter teaches. I am a Massage THerapist and have been extremely busy, and here's why this is great. I am seeing a shift in people's perceptions that healing is 'out there'...when truthfully healing is within/it is my responsibility to take care of myself. People are realizing their health is in their control, if you will..But thank you for speaking into this:) I am grateful for this wise discussion

I see this often in my practice as a Neuro Somatic practioner. Most of our issues stem from childhoood 0-7 years of age and or our ancestors from whom we inherit energies, frequency patterns and vibrations that get lodged in our bodies and affect our subconscious, conscious, brain and body. I hope you bring Peter back. What Peter said in closing about how profoundly Aubrey might effect a community by simply having this conversation, rather than years of all sorts of other things: allow me to be a drop in the bucket of living proof. I so deeply identify with Aubrey's struggle, though our upbringings and situations are not alike, but I too have struggled with guilt over the minor privileges I've had in my life and it has crippled my progress. I've spent my adult life trying to unf**k that toxic narrative in my head....and I think this conversation just finally allowed me the way forward- at the ideal time since I'm at the precipice of beginning a 501c3 project I've had on the backburner for 20 yrs. Thank you for being honest, open, and willing to have these conversations.

To say it simply, i feel the answer to healing and evolving is rooted in our relationship with ourselves and the Almighty ❤️ Only when we have a compassionate relationship with ourselves can we create a happy, fulfilling and a positive life with ourselves and others. It is this understanding that helps us to let go of the pain of the past... And the trusting relationship that we have with the super soul, all knowing, Almighty, brings us peace, gives us faith and helps us feel stronger and able❤️ It is this relationship that helps us let go of the anxiety of the future... There's a reason it is said "Knowing oneself Is the highest wisdom" We heal once we realise we have taken ourselves too seriously. When infact we simply got a chance to be human to realise the Creator and his creation. We are that, and we are one with all there is ❤️

Crying here because I abuse myself the way Aubrey does- feeling like I was given two good parents, great genes, attractiveness that I feel I have to give back to humanity in order to justify my existence. In this construct I have been sliding downhill and stuck for last 10-12 years. I understand homeless people so much because I give up trying out of exhaustion. I have been applying for jobs since March and have not gotten one response and am in serious debt from taking care of my mom who had cancer and now Covid. Not looking at how I have messed up my life and have gotten disgust from my own family reflects my own confusion at how to get out of the pit I am in. I appreciate the conversation here and will look for more ways I can catch myself beating myself up. 🤦♀️

Sounds nuts when you’re in the depths of darkness but it’s helped me a ton, along with many other things. Sending thoughts and prayers for a quick turnaround and relief your way!!!✨🙏🏻💛💛💛💛✨☺️

That was beautiful and true ♥️ can I add a perspective on the "melancholy" episodes that you mentioned still experiencing?..is it not just another way of saying "I should" when we experience sadness and think it's wrong? I think grief is a necessary part of ourselfs that as a society we deny, because it's painful, so we so often assume that feeling it means we have "failed" to be ok, somehow. We are "broken" because we don't feel great all the time...but grief is a release, it's a wonderful way of releasing built up tension and stress, it's an expression of finding the life struggle hard, or that you really loved something that you have lost (wether it's an idea/hope/person/physical thing) it's something that needs to be expressed. If you can accept that there's some reason you need to grieve when you start feeling that melancholy, and not go into judging yourself for feeling it, but just cry. Then you can move strait on without looking back at it and thinking "why did I fail in that moment?" Because you didn't fail...you expressed something, you released something, maybe you will figure out what it was and maybe you won't, it doesn't matter either way if you allowed yourself to express it. You listened to yourself and did what you needed to do. You don't need to be full of powerful energy all the time.
