Learn Korean with GO! Billy Korean

Learn Korean with GO! Billy Korean

Күн бұрын

For his second hour of learning Korean, we cover some essential basic Korean phrases that he can use for meeting clients at work, learn how to say “want to” and use verbs and adverbs, and practice meeting a real live Korean. It’s a crash course in conversational Korean, in only one hour. This is the first person I’ve ever taught Korean to in person, so it’s a whole new experience for me which is quite enjoyable, since I get to remember more how it was like when I was first trying to figure out the language. How did Alex do this lesson? What should he learn next?

I think 1 hour spent in just the target language would have been more productive for initial phrase learning. Basically the I-say-you-say format with big gentures or picture flashcards to solidify the concept. Then just repeat repeat repeat, because when you repeat you remember. ^^ Just like with super young kids, reading and written approaches right at the beginning are highly inefficient to acquire the first few basics. Hope he keeps up learning though. :) 화이팅 하세요. 한국어 배우는게 재미있는 취미 인데 어려운거 알아요. 🧠

I was a bit startled by the idea of batchim to learn as rules at first because they are a very natural thing to do - so I skipped the lessons because they make sense and are naturally applied with experience and exposure to Korean- but maybe that is dependant on your mother tongue (I believe we do similar 'shortcuts in French - same principle anyway)
